i relize this is a free to play game , but i havent seen anything that looks like a cash shop which is the usual alternative , or the "Donate" and get "Complementary" items that ive seen elsewhere.
so i was wondering how Outspark was supported

If you played in the CB there was a SHOP icon that wasn't clickable that will be how SoS makes it money once its a full release i doubt it will have the shop open in OB eather.. but yeah once its official it will have the shop a few patches after..

Yeah most F2P( Free 2 Play) games use a cash shop where you buy a special type of currency with your real money usually by Pay-Pal or something maybe they create cash cards and you can buy them at stores to redeem for the in game money. ANYWAYS They use these shops usually enough people want to buy the items from the cash shop and purchase enough in game money to support the game XP it works pretty well.. Ive yet to see it fail in a online game I have played.

*nods* so long as its not too unbalanced for those that cant buy from the shops but from what i've heard in the forums and how the GM's are that wont be a problem here

I think Outspark gets it from Fiesta's cash shop for now. o.O?
Correct me if I'm wrong. (:

Like what was previously said, free games such as Fiesta and SoS get their money through special in-game stores called "Cash Shops." People buy the cash shop currency with RL money and use said cash shop currency to purchase in-game items. They are usually things like special costumes or items that increase experience gain, but they are in no way unbalancing.
In my opinion cash shops make more money that subscription-based games, thus the reason why they can remain free2play.

Exactly ^^ they would not release cash items that gave users more power.. thats just.... Unfair.. It's mostly like said costumes and things to mask your wepon to make it look like.. say a yo-yo when you swing it.. cool stuff to make the game fun XP

reminds me of GetTiffany....they have free play with limited costumes then they have membership with better costumes and also you can bu special items to make yourself look cooler the don't enhance nothing just cooler is all and then if you request a specific new item its like 80 and you own that item exclusively with your own name and descritption for it and then its 40 for people to get a diffrent color of it
