im just saying that i just now was fighting in burning hill with some ppl, and i was the highest lvl there by about 4. then they started fighting some mobs and all of them together brought together a lot of mobs, and they all died, and i was their next target and while everyone begged to be rezzed after fighting 2 secs, i was fighting the mobs, and if i stopped to rez,
i would die and not be able to rez them. so i continued to fight the mobs. and when it was all over, (yes i survived) everyone had left. and had left the party.
the point, I CANNOT REZ PPL WHEN I CAN'T GO 3-4 SECONDS W/O HEALING MYSELF!!!
and to put on top of that, that stupid bug occured where a cleric cant rez, bcuz the stupid computer thinks the recipient's alive. that got that person madder bcuz i was done fighting and i wasnt rezzing him. even though i was trying.
y cant people think ahead? y cant people realize that if they died in 2 seconds, taht they would last longer after being rezzed. y cant ppl think that if he stopped to rez, that he would die b4 he could rez someone. y cant ppl realize that revive has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Am i cursed for being four levels stronger than them?
Im a battle cleric cause i cant worry about everyone else when im fighting for my life.
Im not of course blaming everyone, just those three ppl. of course this can apply to anyone who can be descibed as asking to be rezzed in this situation.

lol i hear you, it gets way too crazy when other ppl in your party go to a map too high for them and you're trying to save everyone....
it was pissing me off earlier when the 2 other ppl in my party...a mage and a fighter pretty much didn't fight as a team...the mage kept tanking and the fighter ran off somewhere....-_- wasted so much effort trying to keep everyone alive.

lol. That same thing thing happened to me today with my party. We were fighting marlone and 2 ppl died. i was attack by 2 other enimies and they expected me to rez them both quickly. Then all of a sudden, marlone killed me and they blamed it on me. Your not the only cleric to be yelled at.lol

In situations like that, it sucks, but you have to prioritize and choose who lives and who dies. Doesn't happen often, but if someone is going to die, you can decide who it's going to be.
#1: A dead cleric heals no one.
#2: Without a tank, a cleric is dead.
#3: Sorry mages, archers. You're expendable in such a situation. Don't pull aggro and you won't die. ;)
Probably the tank's fault if a DD is taking damage. Though, if they've already mocked and a DD pulls off another mob, that's their funeral. If you can't keep both of them up, choose the tank. You're dead without the tank. A death at low levels is a few minutes of grinding. At 40 it's 10. At 50 it's a bit more..But it's better than the whole party dying.[/b]

I think there are some tips you can use for your next party..these are all my opinion of course..first get a tank that knows what they are doing and is good at holding aggro...without one the rest of your team is toast (see Forbin's post). Ever hear the expression two heads are better then one? Well it applies to clerics too. Two clerics rounds out a team well because when everything starts going crazy two clerics can split the team up and get everyone healed quickly.
Next you should have a 'good' archer. This archer should know how to use natures protection and how to keep mobs off the clerics. Thats his only job..keep mobs off the clerics by pulling their aggro, then using natures protection to dump them on the tank.
So lets run down the scenario. (This is for all classes) So your fighting a mob and a cleric pulls one for some reason, archers job is to pull that mob using a strong attack and the tanks job is to realize that the archer is taking damage and pull the mob from the archer while the archer uses natures protection. The clerics have to pay attention, one must be assigned to spam heal on the tank no matter what, the other will have the job of healing the archer the other cleric and themselves while this whole thing goes on. Then once the mob is dealt with you focus on the tank again, archer spams damage points.
Next scenario, archer pulls mob. One cleric attacks that mob to help kill it off quickly and focuses on healing the archer, the other cleric heals the tank, the tank tries to pull that mob while the archer uses protect just like above. In both scenarios the tank is doing one thing only, holding aggro with the boss or main mob.
NO MATTER WHAT the tank needs to hold the boss. If your fighting king marlone and he starts gunning for the clerics your done for. The tank should focus on nothing but the boss, the other mobs are secondary, and thats what the archer is for, to pick them off. Using this setup has been very effective so far, and even with only one cleric if the tank and archer are good you can kill bosses all day.
Your job as the primary cleric is to HEAL THE TANK. mob starts attacking you..you stop healing the tank ONLY if your going to die. The job of the secondary cleric is to heal you, heal the archer, and rez anyone if death occurs (it should never occur or your doing it wrong:p)
The archers sole purpose in life is to add damage points to the small mobs that accompany the main boss, and to deal with any mobs that attack the clerics. You must learn how to use natures protection effectively.
There is no need for another tank in this setup, but a mage can be added IF he does not pull aggro all the time (figure out what specials pull aggro more often then other, usually the high damage specials are training a mob onto your location every time). An added mage means increased damage points and faster kills, as well as high crit rates on the small mobs. The mages main duty is dp's and only dp's. That and staying alive because the clerics have a hard enough time keeping the archer alive:p
But seriously a good team setup with clearly outlined jobs for each person is the way to go. Just like the military do it, you don't want a bunch of confused wet behind the ears soldiers running all over getting torn to pieces, you want a well organized fighting machine that hammers the enemy like the fist of god. Nuff said:D

mm something u could have done might be to use invincible, then res 1 person. then if one of them was a high cleric u should res them first, so he/she can res others

i totally hate when that happens, in Mara KQ, i think that's the worst "rez" situation...everyone goes for mara and marlone(usually getting the wrong one) then they all die and expect me to rez them. i was the only cleric who could rez in that KQ one time. then i had to draw/lure mara to the other side cause no one else would. that sucked. then people are al like rez me, rez me, and i'm like wait people, it has a 30sec cooldown..
i really hated myself for this but, in Mara KQ(last one i ever did) we got 2 fake maras and 1 fake marlone EVERYoNE died, i got so pissed, i walked up to the top of the boat(the place you have to got up the steps to get into the boat) and rested in my house, i went AFK and when i came back only 1 fighter was left i ended up saying screw it and ran into all the marlones and mara, yeah, that kinda deosn't have anything to do with the subject, lol

LOL I wish this guy could tell that to the clerics who think they are gods and try to replace fighters.
That's a very good point, I cannot tell you how many times I've done a KQ where the cleric thinks that they are invincible and try to tank more than the actual tank, we may be able to heal, but we're still kinda squishy, we can't take on Mara or the Gold Hill boss by ourselves...
I've gotten to the point that if someone is idiot enough to tank the boss, and they arn't a tank, I don't heal them. It's a waste of my time, energy, and SP. And I know at least 2 tanks that feel the same way...if you ever see them on, say Hi. (TankyMcTankerson, and PanDeimos)

It's harsh but true, sometimes you're just too busy keeping yourself or someone else alive that you don't have time to revive. On those occassions, you just need to be patient, wait for Invincible to cool, then revive yourself some backup. If people give you trouble for that, then it sucks to be them, they'll realise that 99% of clerics are not going to rez them if it means their death.
...
Granted, I frequently revive people when it's not safe for me to do so, and die just as the spell resolves. It's a bad habit, and I should stop doing it.
Cure the tank and only the tank? I never do. If anything, it's those damage dealing squishies that get all my love. It's pretty easy to keep the tank alive, but it's the humble squishy that will be killing the monsters. The more monsters that die, the less damage your group takes. You're a cleric, you can't kill monsters fast, but if you guard the mage, they'll kill all those pesky mobs for you, until you're taking little enough damage that you can rez all the ones who didn't make it.
