I want to make a Mage and Archer in the Next Beta Phase but i know the good builds for them so i am kinda open to all thanks for taking the time to put what you think makes a good build /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif

Well some say all END rocks for mages, but my bet is that it'll bite you later on.
For archer Str and Dex is usually a nice combo, adding to your evade and power.
Spr archers (or even mages) for more crit may be nice. Nobody really knows yet that amazing builds.
Just keep in mind what each stat does and what you need. And go for that, it may not be the best build. But it can't be really bad.
And Dex isn't the damage for archers, str is.

If you find you solo more than group End for a mage is almost a must. I have a level 20 Int Mage and a 23 End Mage and I find End to be much better.
"but my bet is that it'll bite you later on." I'd prolly have to agree on this. However Since it's better you shouldn't really think about end game.
I was in a group a few days ago with another mage who was Int/Spr build and as soon as he got something on him he was dead in 2 hits. I had to usually save him by tanking the add. With My End spec I could tank 2 and not have a chance of dying with HP stones/HP potions.

I just put 2 points on SPR and all the rest to INT and i'm mage level 19.
and i kill ratman in 2-3 hits o0
in every game MAGE NEED INT.
so why END? what END even give?

i also have an end mage... and like sukotto said i can also tank with hp stones and sp stones.... or pots.. but stones are easier to get and you can use both at the same time you don't have to wait for sp stones to cool down if you use a hp stone... but you do for sp and hp pots

my char was lvl 29 i put most on end and str 2-3 on dex and used rest on spr i'm not as bothered about dex as i use rings to help up that and spr. as for skill empowerment i put 5 on powershot to up dmg 2 on aimed shot and lowered consumption of spr on multi-shot by 2. the poison and bleed i use first as this can last long enough to go through the aimed shot then power shot. multi is only used when necessary. aimed shot has quickest cool down then bleed then poison then power. archers are more for parties i think and their best for pulling out enemes from a group though this doesn't always work. some places i have teamed up with one particular cleric and the two of us could survive when groups of 3 or more have died. not always but we have lasted for a long time most of the time. it is not just about where you apply your points but to know what your char is also good at. i would just like to say to this particular cleric it has always been a pleasure to party with you.

The reason is simple if you die in one to two hits you're dealing 0 DPS that's not helping anyone.
My End mage might be dealing less DPS than you but I'm still dealing more than any other class with less chance of dying.
At level 23 I have around 750HP with scroll. I take a lot less damage than you do so clerics have a much easier time also.
Atleast at lower levels there's not much difference in Damage this will change later on when Int will be more effective.
Also If CBT2 they've fixed AE so I can actually purchase it, End will be a must for using it.

Sukotto you're wrong. A solo mage needs the same thing as a party
mage...Lots of damage output. Mages kill before they die, they are not
made to out live their opponents. If you are in a party and you are getting attacked so much it makes it inconvenient for the cleric then your party just sucks. And with scrolls + a cleric I have way more defense, hp, and evasion than I need in a party, making END useless in party as well.
