Making Elrue problem

Hi, I know this question has been asked and answered many times.
But I still have to ask since none of the answers were really clear to me.
I already chose my production skills as Potion and Composition.
Now, I am trying to fulfill the quest from Guard Nus of making Elrue.
My question is, is there a way to learn Stone Production Skill?
I understand that without stone production skill chosen, I cannot learn the production item such as Elrue that I bought from Ruby.
I need help please.

That is correct. You only get 2 production skills and you can't change them. To complete that quest, you'll just have to buy elrues from another player.

Very wise thing to do for several reasons.

1.) the extra storage space comes in handy.

2.) you can make all of your own stuff.

3.) They are great for farming materials that will rarely drop as your main levels up.

I have one of each class. Between them I have all production skills covered and an extra 6 bags of storage on them combined. :)
