lvl 26 Cleric Build

I'm currently lvlling a cleric in Bijou. Ign is Jolt, and I recently began to wonder about my build. I'm rocking a 2:1 endurance:strength thing, and i havent seen many other clerics with this, and not too many that even put stats into strength. How effective (or non-effective) is a 2/1 end/str build? moreover, would spirit be more important for clerics?

SPR is infinitely more important for a cleric, overall. However, you'll still be a fine healer either way. You don't have to follow the same route as everyone. :)

STR isn't that great for a cleric, but if you pump enough into it, you'll do a good bit more damage. *shrugs*

thanks for the advice forb... i only began to realize of late that i might put some stats into spr, but now i've got 10 in str and i'm not sure what to do x.x

how do most end/spr builds work out? i hear that a 1:1 ratio is pretty good until you have 25 in spr or something like that. can anyone elaborate on that? i'm still a bit lost in all of it, lol.

Here is my view, you can exhange SP for HP right? and SP gives you more Crit rate, so I figure just put it all into SP, DEF is not all too terribly important unless your a fighter and besides just go buy a ring if you want the HP that badly.

i'm pretty happy with my endurance because i tend to solo pretty often... i have 20 points in end as well as 2 +7 end rings. is a spr build ideal for soloing?

Technically, the ideal solo build would be 25 SPR and the rest in STR. You still won't have a problem outhealing damage, even with no extra END.

However, END is extremely useful when you're in a party and stuff starts flying around hitting people, including you.

My cleric is currently +29 END, +20 SPR. I'm able to take the hits from the elf knight souls in AEW if I have to (Though it's kind of touch and go. They take about 90% of my health with each magic attack)...

And red stonies are no problem at all with my extra END. I solo just fine as well. The tougher CP mobs (prisoner, tree, torturer etc) don't cause me any problems. I kill pretty slow, but then again..Hello, I'm a CLERIC. :D

I guess the extra sp would make up for some of the end. i'd love to kill things quickly, but i guess i'll have to face reality and tell myself i'm not a tank, lol.

The route I went was like this:

15 END
5 SPR
20 END
10 SPR
25 END
20 SPR
30 END

That's where I am now.

I'd suggest an altered path, based on my experience:
10 SPR
10 END
20 SPR
20 END
30 END
25 SPR
Rest in END

ok, easy breakdown-
str- gives you 1.2 dmg per point you invest
spr- gives you a +0.2% crit (up to +25 spr, in which case it drops to +0.1% after that), increased m.def, and extra sp.

the crit is very nice. i run a modified 2:1 end:spr build (i say modified because when i got to +20 end i started dumping into SPR since i was partying more, and needed the extra sp for healing)

it takes a LONG time to kill things. but i can easily take several goblins on at once, or a mix of goblins and procks in GC.

i put the 5pts from my job change into str, because after i hit 25spr i intend to start a end:str build. i also always wear a +11end ring, then switch betwene a +11 str/spr ring depending on what im doing.

Since SPR effectivess drops after +25 and END effectiveness drops after +50, it's not too bad if you have added STR.

I'm thinking of getting +25 SPR and +50 END and then raise STR (if I ever get this high).

I tend to prefer soloing, so what would be the best build 25spr then str or 25spr then end, or a mix of both?
