The guild Silvaria finally rose from it's ashes and recovers fast,
as nothing can stop it to shine again among the top guilds of Legel.

Silvaria is a guild all about honor, trust, and dedication. Our goal is to establish a respectful, friendly guild,
and to become one of the top guilds on Legel. At the moment we are non-warring because we are focusing
on just allowing the guild to grow as a family. As we become stronger, warring might be available. Player Killing is
strictly prohibited unless you are being attacked or you agree on a duel with someone
Also we are not a power leveling guild.

Currently we are recruiting players to the guild that are level 40+ and active.
No guild hoppers please, we are aiming to create a big family and
would like to keep all the members together permanently.
Anyone is free to join the Academy as well, whenever there are free spaces.

• Always be respectful to your guild mates, academy members,
and even outsiders. We, as a kingdom, must uphold our dedicated cause.

• Follow the Terms of Service, and the elements of Fiesta.

• Do not ask for SparkCash items, Plvling, or assistance in 'PKing' someone.
We will give you as much help as possible, but not enough to 'baby' you.

• At least every month, donate a little to the guild's funds, since we need to
supply the storage for our academy...we must have as much cooperation as possible.

• Do not guild hop. If you plan to do so, immediately leave the guild.
(We ARE trying to seek out permanent members.)

• Always donate cookies to your seniors ;)

We are currently recruiting Academy members and await them with great rewards, fun events and lots of help.
Occasionally when the Academy becomes full, we boot some passive Academy members, which does
not mean they are not welcome anymore.
This is purely for the guild's and their own benefit, as once they enroll to the Academy again, they get to benefit
from a longer buff thanks to those who leveled while they were away. If you find yourself booted, just re-enroll the
academy. If it's full, contact the Academy Master in-game or here at the forums.

We at Silvaria aren't only building up friendships and positive connections inside our guild
but outside it as well. Although 'Alliance' may not be the best term and other guilds might
refer to it in another way, we seek friendly relations with the fellow awesome guilds of Legel.

Also please note that although we are very open to such friendly relationships,
it may be possible that we won't establish one with certain guilds that either
oppose one of our allies or simply oppose our views and playstyle. However
I doubt this would occur very often.

That's right! Silvaria will be occasionally holding events for their Guild and Academy members,
who can win great prizes while having fun. And that's not all; some events will involve the members
of those guilds with whom we seek to build up a friendly relationship with. This means that you get
some quality time getting to know other awesome Legel people while also having fun :3

Will you look at that... this pretty new thread design was hiding beneath a thick dust
layer ^_^' ... was about time to clean it and update it properly and I also added some
new sections and goodies.
Hope you like the new design :3 I will be sort of busy this month (working on my final
thesis for the university, this is my last and most crutial term @-@ Thus I apologise for
my random passiveness)
I will however try to log in game from time to time, to participate at events, host our own
events and to simply check out how the guild is doing. :3

That's right ~ Silvaria comes with a Hall of Fame now. What is it's purpose?
Simply to highlight certain members who achieved a lot and deserve some attention.
This is both for current and past members. So here they are, our family's pride;

I believe Apyllos deserves a spot here. Although he is not playing Fiesta anymore,
we should never forget the great deeds he did for our family. He was a most excellent
fighter on Legel and many big guilds were fighting for his attention, but he remained
loyal to our little family and collected a huge amount of great statted higher level gear,
which are our guilds treasure now. His legacy (the gears) may be available temporarily to
trusted members and shall always remain part of our guild.

We miss you Apyllos and hopefully you will occasionally check this thread to chat with us :)

The most active Guild members can get a special and unique title inside the guild, given by the founder of the guild himself.
Such a title is 'General', which is currently owned by Arisha.

Those Guild Members who prove their loyalty to Silvaria by being active, recruiting new members, helping the Academy members
and donate to the guild, can get a free Silvaria signature and/or avatar artwork by Qvi / baktwerel as a sign and reward for their loyalty and support.
Please note that since she (I) tend to get busy very often, this might take a while...

The Academy Event 'Chocolate Giveaway' will be held today!! All the Silvaria Academy members are eligible to take part and can win King's chocolate or Truffle chocolate (with Mousse chocolate). :)

Well, there are a lot of Forum users already in the academy and the guild (Icetra, Zephyr-Aryn, Vosrik, Shalken, Gurenizumi10, nickolaaaw etc.) , so you might as well stay with us too :P

We treat our academy and guild members rather nicely as you can see ;P The Guild Master is Fiesta's most generous person, the guild has it's own artist too (me), and a lot of cool people :D A real family one can't wish for a better one ;P

And really, we'd do it on Bijou too if we had an alternate Guild there XD Right now I have only some noobie characters there, but planning to level Kirenna there :P (lvl 4 cleric ftw X,D)

But anyway, everyone is welcome in the academy :P Silvaria shall shine again ;D

Updated some more examples for non-drawn Silvaria signatures.

The ones for Icetra and Raki were purely random and they didn't request them -yet-. The titles are also random. Their purpose is to showcase the possible looks of these kinds of signatures.

Finished updating, the Academy is full with free space again, we are ready to recruit new members :)
Some major but temporary changes have been made:

Arisha has become the temporary Guild Master. Yumi9 has become the Academy Master (and will probably keep the position). Also congrats to Apyllos on becomming an Admin :) .

Rytenae's was pretty good, but I wasn't too fond of the style. I was trying to capture a serene mood, and Lorlie's does that perfectly. Rytenae's was a little....modern? Rock star? Disco lights? ....something like that.

Hey everyone. I agree that Arisha is doing a great job and I'm looking forward to meeting Icetra and the events that are in the works.

I haven't been on as much as I like myself, as I told Arisha I'm in the process of packing because I'm moving house. I hate doing it because it keeps me away from playing Fiesta as much as I want. XD And the amount of stuff that me and my husband have accumalated is ridiculous...

@ Cy : It depends on what you would like to donate. Anyhow, Roumen, Elderine and Uruga all have an NPC responsible for guilds, you have to talk with him and choose the Guild Storage option. You can then deposit money if you are a member of the guild (not the academy). I'm not sure whether regular members can deposit items, besides the guild storage itself is full. I'll take care of it today and turn most of the less useful items into money for the academy so we would have some space for new and better items. If you see an admin online (Apyllos, Yumi9, Icetra or me) you can always just trade the items directly to us, as all of the admins are trusted members :) We are mostly expecting good gears and weapons for the academy and the early guild levels (about lvl 30-60). But if you turn your items into silver/gold, that might be the most useful donation.

@ Apyllos: Welcome to the forums :) Glad you could find the thread ^^ As you see, there are many options like you can subscribe to threads to find their updates easier or you can live chat as well. Hope to see you casually here. Also you will need a nice signature as well which you have earned a while ago ;)

Well, Shalken was walking around in FBZ1 the other day, (just for fun, not killing anyone) and suddenly two level 25 archers and a level 32 cleric teamed up on him. (Shalken was level 42) And so, first he attacked the archer, but after realizing that the cleric was just healing him, he killed the cleric and then the other archers. He had to do it again on his way out. ^^ We normally don't go to FBZ, but sometimes we pop in just to see who's there...

you forget that almost capped players have a bad tendency for camping at spawnpoints and spamkilling/trapping everyone else for no particular reason. It's especially bad during events. I remember during tha last FBZ events (where there was no level limitation) hundreds of new and low level players got trapped for more than 30-45 minutes. They begged the PKers to let them leave but they just kept killing them so GMs had to warp them out :c

Those are the mean capped people... I don't understand what feeds their satisfaction when they kill nubs. I let them be personally and I know lots of others who won't go spawn killing them. It's fun to see how much damage you'll do once maybe, but not fun to be like "u can pass, mwahaha ima keep you in here foreva"

Or if you see a big group of them... cast an aoe and they all go splat.. Lol but just for jokes. If they say stop I stop :3.

Just depends on the nature of the person I guess.

Tack on another level for me, and nearly another one for Vos...

btw, Vosrik was going to take a screenie in the southwestern section of FoT, and he wanted to kill all the monsters there to get a nice screenie. He shot down all the Little Lizardmen, and there remained one Hero Slime. Or, rather what LOOKED like a hero slime...
He targeted it, and fired away. But it didn't die. He started to shoot it desperately with all his skills as it came charging forward, and BAM......he was dead in one shot. In shock, he looked at the name to find it wasn't even CLOSE to a Hero Slime. This, my friends....was a Nest Slime.

He has already sent a report to a CSR. We believe it was a result of the newly released Leviathan's Nest instanced dungeon, and it should be sent back to where it belongs before it robs anyone else of their experience...

Psst, the Nest Slime isn't a bug/glitch. It was implemented with the patch for a reason. To get the key to enter Leviathan's Nest, we have to go and kill that evil beasty. So yeah, it's there for a reason. :P (Someone replied to vosrik in General Discussion, but i decided to post here since i assumed he'd see it here faster)

DeeBeeKhay is right, the Nest Slime is there for level 90 players and higher to get the Key to the new Instance Dungeon. It's level 93, so don't try to fight against it...

Vosrik was playing yesterday for a full hour trying to level up in level 50 Abyss from 94%. At first, his percentage shot up to 96%, then dropped down to 92%, and is now at 95%.

The reason why it dropped down so much is because as he was attacking some ??? characters, he was randomly attacked and killed by a level female cleric. He said "Don't kill me, I'm trying to level." Once he moved back, he started grinding again, and the cleric started to chase him. Vosrik started running around all over the place, with the cleric following him all the way. When he stopped, the cleric came up and killed him in one blow. Once again, he told her to stop.

Wash, rince, and repeat for almost a full hour.

She FINALLY went away, allowing him to kill a few more ??? characters before his remaining 5 minutes were up.

The cleric has been reported for harassment already. Vosrik hopes that it won't happen again in subsequent days when trying to level.

1st, please edit the name of the cleric out of your post, it is blacklisting.

2nd, I doubt any action will be taken against her, afterall Vos was in a PVP area. And the Abyss are NOT meant for leveling but to PVP.
The only thing you can report someone is if they don't let you leave the PVP zone and trap you inside for spamkilling you. Also if they camp at spawnpoits. I might be wrong but as far as I know, it's like this.

Just a reminder that the hide and seek event is today at 3PM Pacific, 6PM Eastern. It may be start a bit late depending on if I can get out of work on time or not. Baktwerel should be able to keep the Academy updated in-game.

We're planning this as an event for the Academy with a seperate guild event later, but if there are only a couple of Academy members to show up then we'll let the full guild members participate too.

Prize for the winner who finds me: Swimsuit set of your choice!
Prize for the winner who finds Arisha: A custom signature for the forums made by her. It will be a nice drawing of your character! ^_^

Hi everyone!

The first official academy event of Silvaria hosted yesterday (May the 7th, 2010) was a great success! :D

The main hosts and donators of the Hide-and-Seek party were Yumi9, our Academy Master and Arisha (me), the Temporary Guild Master:

As mentioned before the event was a Hide-and-Seek event where Yumi and I hid at low level areas accessible for all the contestants. We only told that we will hide in either Forest of Tides, Sand Beach or Forest of Mist and hints were supposted to be given after 30 minutes, if none of us were found.
Also to make this event fair, we made it a footrace, meaning that mounts were not allowed, so those who only had a hobby or nothing could compete against those with raccoons and other mounts. Guild Member and Admin Apyllos helped as well, he made sure that none of the contestants would head off before Yumi and I were ready hiding :)

The prizes were the following:

The one to find Yumi got the chance to win the Swimsuit set Island Vacation! (Tribal Swimsuit with Mini Chocolate Icecream hat)
The one to find Arisha got the chance to win a free High Quality art commission in worth $35 as well as a signature version of it.

Here are our winners:

The one to find Yumi was Academy Member Xoro!!! Congratulations!! You can now level up faster with a nice critical rate while dressed fit for the season as well ;)

Well we aren't all that short on them, and it's not like we are aiming for a class ballance member wise. If lets say 90% of the guild were clerics, so be it. I don't see anything wrong with that :)
And we will get more mages eventually, in fact our nr 2 member is a mage at lvl 76.

Great Event! I had a lot of fun participating in it :P

News update for my father. He will be monitored until Thrusday this week, if his condition does not improve then my brothers and our mother will make a decision wether to keep him on a ventilator for the rest of his life. Just to let u all know, my father never wanted to be kept alive on machines, so u all can guess what our decision will be. I will let u all know on Friday with the outcome.

On another note, ive been a killing machine with bosses, I have filled up about 30% of the guild storage with lvl 75-95 blue set items! Cant wait to see that stuff be used, and yes, im gonna kill for more loots, muhahaha.

Oops, sorry, I forgot to discuss Sunday. Well, Sunday is out of the question. We are not allowed to play any video/computer games on Sunday. Period. In a nutshell, Friday would be best for us. We are available at around 2:00 pm PDT til about 5:00 PDT.

The Guild event will be postponed for next week -maybe even the week after, depending on how things turn out. Sorry for it.

Reasons:

-We (mostly I) weren't prepared enough to advertise the event in time, and the majority of the members would find it unexpected. I prefer to announce these events in time so everyone can prepare for it.

-It is more than likely that Apyllos's and Avida's father will pass away on Friday. I don't think it would be suitable to have a fun event that day. A member's sorrow is our sorrow and we will be with Apyllos and Avida in soul. Be strong you two.

Edit: As far as I know the machines that keep the guys father alive will be shut down on Friday.
For this most unfortunate event I have prepared a commiseration signature. It is not compulsory to use it.

Announcement (Maybe not so important... ._.):

My fellow members, I am happy to announce that I'll return tomorrow. However, despite this, I will let Ari have control over the guild for awhile. Only because for a few reasons: 1. She has proved herself admirably the qualifications and traits of taking care of the guild. 2. The rules have been followed, and the guild has been better than before...not only that, she has done more than I could possibly have. 3. Even though I will be back, I won't be able to train and gain resources like I used to, so I can't do much... .-. (Lack of SparkCash increases the effect. >.>)

I'm starting to work on the guild website as we speak. The history is being constructed, but the designs will have to wait until June. Until then the site will be in it's true, and mature state.

I'm also trying to conjure up more events...but it's difficult due to the idiocy of FBZ. x.x But usually it would be a series of RP events; such as the happenings or battles of Silvaria, or maybe a direct involvement of my story. ...Though, I need more time. >>;;

Also, I just want to say this; Know that we, as Silvaria, are not only knights, but we are a family of a strong and powerful connection. What we feel...our sorrow, our happiness, and our confidence...we can feel it, as if we were one. If someone in our family is suffering, or is saddened by a loss, know that we will always be there for you. Whenever or not you're in Silvaria, but even for the common folk. For we have a code to upheld as knights.

...However, this is not why we battle, or care for others. We do this because we want to. For that...is the true face of our guild. I am happy that all of you, my dear, and fellow guild mates have lingered to Silvaria, especially you Arisha. Again, I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart, and hope you will always give your support to make our family even stronger than before. All of you have done well to let this guild stay as it intended, and for that, I thank you for the bottom of our heart. Soon, very soon...we will become one of the best guilds on the Legel server (or at least one of the nicest ones~ ;3)
