Quality?

I was wondering if there was a way to drop the quality a bit on the game. I'm experiencing a bit of slow down in the game but I meet the system requirement. Anyone know if there is such an option and if so, where can I find it?

Yes, click menu then go to graphic settings and mess about with it til it's good for your computer ^^

Wow, that was too easy, >.> Sorry. It must be there after you create your character because I didn't get past that part yet. HAHA Oh man, I feel a bit stupid, now.

Freaky, when making a new character, I get a white background. Thing is, I rarely lag in-game because of my computer o.O

Most people turn off character effects, glow effect, screen vibration, backgrounds, and LOD to reduce the bit of visual lag they get. I myself keep my LOD distance on about half, and I turn the background to about 3/4. I dont lag in game except in extreme cases (I love my computer!!!), but I do this anyway simply because I dont feel I need my LOC/BG on 100% and if I can reduce the power I use on my compute rby just a bit doing that, hey, more power to me!

If you dont mind doing some other things... even if its a slight visual lag, there are little tricks Ive learned to help. The main one being if its descreet enough for you to do.. try to get some sort of mini-fan or small box-fan pointed at your computer (or pointed sideways at the back vent where the hot air comes out -- to blow the hot air away from the vent asap). Oddly enough Ive found most the lag I ever encounter on my computers is a simple case of overheating.
