There has been a few threads on role play on this board, and I know that there are quite a few of us out there. I myself used to role play on MUDs all the time, and I miss them a lot. I wish I had more time on my hands to write because I would love to set up a MUD based on the old Nightmare LP. I think the closest to 'real' role playing in a pay for play game is Neverwinter Nights. There have been a few groups of people on MMORPGs that have set up role play sessions but its not quite as fun when some guy named IP0wN3dJ001337 comes walking up to your role play session and says things like "hay, wat r u doin?" It sort of defeats the idea:p I havn't tried the new D&D MMO, but I'm pretty sure it has the same sorts of problems and isn't geared toward role players. That pretty much leaves pen and paper games as the number 1 RPGs. But if you want a decent graphical game that you can make your own dungeons and stories with and then play multiplayer online with your friends I highly suggest Neverwinter Nights. It has a good single player game too, and supports permanent worlds that you can play on kind of like a MMO.

True. Private roleplaying forums are where its at. Where you join a 'faction' you all get the password to access your part of the forums where you may roleplay. And up to 100 [active] people per faction. That is very fun.

They have different forums with different posted areas where people can go to RP against one another
GMs of the certain forum will watch whoever wins and records it so they get xp to buy stats..
its really good fun xD!

I doubt they will. It might get a little messy and they are very very hard to manage. Because one of my friends manages a Wrestling one. It's like a full time job when you have 200+ members who are extremely active and roleplay daily.

I don't think Naruto is bad at all. It's fun if you have a good bunch of people to RP with.

Active Roleplaying is good. With limits on how many times you can roleplay in an hour so people atleast have time to read the roleplaying. Also it helps improve English and grammar :)

yeah i dont know about the grammar part... people still might half *** their typing :(

but it will get people involved and we can advertise Fiesta and SoS to people who dont play them and just RP :D

Well if you ever want to get anywhere in life you must learn how to speak and spell. And I never use broken or txt talk in any of my posts unless for a specific reason. I can speak and understand a few languages and English is easy. There is no reason to not speak properly.

IRL means "In Real Life" and Cosplay is when you Roleplay but you also dress up as the Characters and It's basically Roleplaying but way more extreme. But It's also great fun. If you have the costumes that is. It's useless Cosplaying when you have no good costumes.

lol, I do both. I only cosplay for the anime expo though, it'll be really awark if you see somone cosplaying as ichigo, from bleach, shopping at your local supermaket. And as I said before I DO ROLE PLAY IN REAL LIFE.

Apparently its really good lol. But the story line sounds weird. I've walked around Byron as Kakashi because "Old-Mate" has a full outfit. Funny though, the wig/solid-ish hair is funny xD But I looked like the real thing but I had no Sharingan. Great for a laugh though.

if we were to rp, we need to know what rping system were gonna use. When I rp i use the DnD rp style.

We haven't even establish how many people there are, or even the style or time and places. There's alot of preparation if you want a good rp.
