Purge?

I'm nearing level 37 and I was curious as to if the skill "purge" is worth buying. I mean, it only seems like it could be useful in pvp, and nothing else. Is it even any good for pvp? Does is just remove the last buff cast on your enemy? or does it deal any damage? Please explain the skill, and if its worth buying.

buy it if ur planning to do pvp, if not then dun buy. mages have quite a few spells meant for pvp.

Purge really doesnt come in handy at all.... 2minute cooldowns and i dont really know how it works even tho im lvl 49mage... i tryed to remove some buffs in pvp but it never worked i dont know.. but buy it anyways it looks good !

Useful in PVP. Nice to see those extra 400 hitpoints go down the drain ;)

its cool cause if ur opponent has an hp and sp buff the spell can cancel.
i tried tis spell in pvp and it worked quit well with fighters cause if they hv anysort of buff it romoves it. :p

ok i read what it does and u can use it on staffs because they use there sp to remove yours u know the staffs in MT they us sp and when u use plurge it blokes the enemys sp

As already said, and as far as I've used Purge, it is pretty much pure pvp skill; with many others, like Mana Burn, can't-remember-the-name (stealing the enemy's buff), somewhat also Fear. There are some mobs somewhere (Robo KQ, if I remember correctly), that have buffs (increased attack rate, increased damage) but in a hectic situation like that it's useless. So. If you think pvp is no-no, don't bother buying - otherwise: Go for it ! After all, it is quite hilarious how such a big bunch of mage skills are obviously there just to annoy clerics. ;D
