Custom Avatar

I couldn't find a good place to post this, so I'll post it here hoping not to get banned by my stupidity.

Is there any way to upload your own homemade Avatar like most of the forums? I personally don't like using the Pre-made ones they have here, not that they're ugly or anything, but they just don't fit my personality...

If there's no way to do so, its okay, I'll just cry like a baby until someone punch me and shout "SHUT UP!!" with anger on his/her face.

Only OS staff (GM's, CL's, CSR's,...) can have Custom avatars. Of course, there are some exceptions...

FatalLace, the original creator of the Fiesta Magazine and her staff have Custom Avatars.

As I recall you used to be able to use your own but people kept putting up <assumed obscenity removed> so they had to find a way to block it.

So its because of people who abused of the Avatars that now we can't use our own? That's a shame... T_T

I can't confirm that one way or another as I'm unsure, but as it stands, only the Outspark Staff, CL Team, and I think from time to time there's a forum contest that allows it, are allowed to use Custom Avatars. Fatallace's and her staff previously and any who have custom avatars do not have those removed though, and nor has it been an issue we intend to deal with.

Although to refer to us as Outspark Staff, we're not. =P We're merely volunteers who oversee and maintain a courteous and respectful atmosphere on the forums.

Edit: Also, to add a whole bunch of custom avatars(i.e. making them publicly available), would cause some strain to the forum servers, that was one of the reasons a while back why it wasn't brought public or anything. We CL's have discussed it in the past.
