1. obtain item to be enhanced an an enhancement stone, elrue if its just starting
2. go to a smith and select the refine item button
3. put the item to be enhanced in the middle square surrounded by 8 others, and the stone in any of the 8 surrounding ones. the 3 boxes at the bottom with 6 sided stars are for fiesta store things to increase odds and stuff
4. click enhance/refine item(not sure which) and if you're lucky, it'll be upgraded:)
NOTE: you need to get it to enhancement lvl 3 for it to glow at all
