i don't actually quite understand what u are trying to ask!

if u mean production skills like pots and stones etc then u can choose only 2 but riding and ming are different. u get the scrolls to learn fron any item merchant in game and use the scrolls as u wud skill scrolls like heal for cleric taunt for fighter

riding and minig do not go where u choose stone making skills nor pots, scrolls decomp and comp skills

hope this is what u mean

Just to clarify, you don't get the production, mining or riding skills from Item Merchant NPCs, you get them from Skill Master NPCs. In regards to your choice, it's a matter of personal preference, but these are the top three to choose from:

Stone Production: Create stones used to upgrade weapons and armor. A good choice because materials are fairly distributed among all monsters in the game and there is no lack of players attempting to get their weapons and shields to +9, even more so now that certain items that boost item upgrading are available in the online store.

Scroll Production: Create scrolls that give buffs which last for an hour. There are scrolls for increasing accuracy, life, mana, dodging, armor, magical resistance, movement rate, etc. Another good choice because everyone appreciates all the buffs they can obtain for their characters. Materials are uncommon to rare, however... *cough*SummonedBeastLeatherLowQuality*cough*

Potion Production: Create potions that regain lost life and mana. Literal lifesavers, enough said. Materials are common to uncommon.

If this is your only character, DEFINATLY pick up Stone Production for one of them. With that, you'll be making Elrues. You can then use them to enhance your equipment or, more importantly, sell them for 50c each. That ALONE is enough to turn you from broke to well funded early on, especially since it's not hard to end up with a ton of the items needed to make elrues just from normal leveling.

The second? Probably potions over scrolls, since having potions early on is a nice money saver (that is, using them over stones) and later on becomes another way to save you (when you need a heal and already used your HP stone).

I'll admit, though, scrolls are powerful and being able to make them is wonderful, so if you're willing to put up the effort to get the materials for it, go ahead and get scrolls.

OR.. do what others do and make 3 characters, and get ALL of the production tools.
