I believe so. XD. I've only ever been able to pick two. But the good thing is that you can make an alternate character with seperate production skills. I hope this helps. :)

yes apparently i made the same mistake - anyhow chose and later realised i cannot unchoose... Now stuck with it forever....

Hi and welcome! :)

Remember that you have 4 chara slots, so if there are 5 production skills to chose from, you can get all 5 by creating 2 additional characters with different skills. ;) So there's not really any reason to worry about. ^^

Yup, that is something that I would definitely like to see changed.
Of course you would lose all of you production credit but that is a lot better than being stuck with a bad choice.

As for me I always choose potions as a primary skill and then a different skill for each of my 4 characters as a second skill.

Potions is the most useful skill in the field and if you are ever out and away from town and you run out of stones you will be very glad you have it.

Scrolls is the next most useful skill and also a good money maker.

Stones is a completely useless skill in the field but a very good money maker once you set up shop in town.

Material Composition and Decomposition is not quite as useless in the field as stones but they are more for convenience and you still need alchemy stones to perform the tasks.
That and the payoff is really not that great.
Material Decomposition is probably the more useful of the two.

In my opinion potions and scrolls are the best skills to have if you only have one character because both potions and scrolls are always in high demand.
