Two questions

1- Is life-tap a helpful skill? Should I get it? Should I get all tiers of it? Doesn't it make mages die fast? btw: im pure int.

2- (this doesn't concern mages particularly) What is the difference between Lucky Elrue and Blessed Elrue? What are their success rates? any other info would be helpful. Thanks.

IF your full int, life tap will prob get you killed without a cleric. The trade off isnt that great either. like 70% return or something.

In a party with a cleric who will help you recover the HP you use for Lifetap, the skill is priceless and allows you to use very few stones at all. Personally, though, I dislike the skill and won't use it till I encounter a need (haven't yet...). I've partied with a few mages who use the skill, and it's just not something I need.

Lifetap is very usefull, especially in party with a cleric, but also alone... if you have much more HP as SP, use Lifetap and then rest... so you recover a little bit faster^^
