How many monsters do you have to kill to get an egg to drop?

I am just curious on how many monsters you have to kill to get an egg to drop? I was playing this morning and i haven't gotten an egg yet nor have I seen one drop. I don't know of anyone else having this problem or if it was just me.

From what I did last night, around 30-40 or so, I think. I picked up three and probably didn't really kill all that many, but all of them were higher level (10 levels+).

If what you want is an egg, don`t kill them. Take them to the day care!

I'd assume the drop rate is pretty low, since you only have to get 15 of each (is that right?)

i killed about 15 werebears and then did tower of iyzel one and a half times and got two blue ones.

I killed about 1600 vamp bats a 320 vivis and got 2 eggs total. My party could have somethin to do with this, but still, seems like it's gonna take quite a bit to get 15.

I got 3 eggs in 2 hours. that seems a little off considering that I got one or two apples for almost every other monster I killed.

I'm level 45 and I fought in the level 50 abyss for about 1.5 hours last night, I got one egg. Tonight I might try the level 40 abyss, and my character is pretty much too high for drops out of the 30 abyss.

And you can't even put them in storage to transfer to another character. Which is a bummer since the only two I've found so far were not on my main, and I don't know as I want to keep farming on the noob just to finish the quest. Especially if it's going to take all two weeks just to rack up the 30 eggs.

What is the deal with the drop rate? Blast powder was a worthless quest, you needed 100 of something that rarely drops. Shutian's apples were great, it looks like they learned their lesson with the impossible drop rate. Some might say they dropped too much, but actually since they were sellable, it just helped lower levels get needed cash. Now we're back to the 'going to take 6 months to collect' drop rate.

Its just a pet with 100 hp and sp
~ If im not able to complete it ill just change my kebing pet skin to mini chick XD (client side change - only il be able to see it in that skin all others see it as my normal kebing and stats will be same of kebing's) ~

Lets put it this way

The event quest is just as bad as the "fixed" Prodigal Girlfriend quest. Horrible drop rate, Terrible reward.

What exactly is the reward? My comp is in the shop so I couldn't participate even if I wanted to. Of all the event quests to not recycle though, this one makes me sad. Last year we got 30 day 3% crit tails. That is by far, the best reward I can remember from an event. Ok well maybe second best cause the Honeying tanks rock my socks, but the little perm crowns are... well... useless.

The reward is a 7-day chick pet that gives 100 HP and SP and picks up your items for you.

Upon further consideration, I decided to keep working on the quest on my noob character. The auto-pickup would be more useful on the character I actually go farming with more, but 100 HP/SP doesn't make much of a difference on someone who already has around 3k of each. :D
