I haven't seen, nor could I find, this particular bug reported anywhere and just thought I'd mention it:
I created a new character the other day, did the first few quests (4 or 5 of them), after a little bit, I decided I didn't want to use the character as I was so I deleted him. Then, I created another one, exactly like him, same name and everything a day later, and attempted to start the beginning quests again...
When I attempted to start the 5 slime quest, the smith gave me what appeared to be that quest, but in the quest log, it actually was a quest that I had not completed (or even accepted) on my higher level (5 or so) character that I had created the previous day. The 5 slime quest was nowhere to be found, nor could it be accepted in the "Quest List" from ANY of the NPC's.
Wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything like this? It could be that perhaps that quest is always a random group of monsters, but I don't think so. It seems that maybe it kept record of quests that I completed with that characters name, even though he was deleted?
If this IS a bug (and not "user error") I could see some potential problems for people who like to use the same name and want to try different builds.
Anyway, just trying to contribute to the project...
(P.s. It was also like 1:30am when I noticed this, but I don't think I missed anything)
