You know the warrior's insignia that everyone wins and is turned in for a repeatable quest? Let's just say you saved them from, for example, 49 to 55. Would it count for the 55 repeatable quest since it is the same item or be invalid because it came from the PvP KQ level limit before it?

No it wouldn't, if you look at the ensignia it is named for the specific Warrior's Code KQ. You either use them to hit 50, or blow them up!
