Just wondering about the character page

Did anyone notice that on the character info page there is no archer class? Im not trying to sound like a total new guy, but if there is a class page shouldnt all the classes be there? Its not totally important ut some newer people might think there is no archer and choose something else until they see its to late. Anyways thats it let me know what you think about that if you want to

Ever played Ragnarok Online? They don't do that like other games. You don't choose who you are at the beginning. You start off as a Xenian and then level up, then you change to your job, or "class."

I know that, but there is a character page that lists nd defines fighter, mage, acolyte, xenian and rouge. However the archer class isnt listed on the page and I wondered if anybody noticed.

That's because both the archer and the predictor branch from the rogue and acolyte classes respectively. Therefore, while in a way they can be considered 1st tier classes (on xenepic, they’re considered so) they aren’t actually part of your first class change. Also, considering this was just closed beta and that 2nd tier classes had not been reachable on the game, the character classes page at the main site is basically outdated.

Well is "Predictor" on there.... prolly not because Pedictor and Archer are Sub Classes.

I see Claiomh.Solais sorry for taking up your time then with a silly question. Sometimes I dont catch on to things as fast as others. In fact I didnt know they were sub classes and have no idea what a predictor is. I only played for like 2 hours before closed beta ended. How unlucky is that?

No problem. As long as you ask things around in a nice manner I will always be willing to answer. Of course, if you start asking stupid things that have already been answered lots of time, you will just get flamed. So it’s a nice idea to first use the search function before asking.

The predictor is a branch class of the acolyte and is a fighting/support hybrid. Has worst supporting skills than the pure acolyte path, but it can hold it’s own fighting much better. At least that’s what I know, I’ve never really played the game xD
