Charms really should be visible.

It would be nice to know if the people I am pvping are charmed or not, I should hit for alot more than what I do on most people.. and I think that pots should have a visual effect like stones do.... so there wouldn't be any lying.

Charms ARE visible in PvP. The guy that's running around 2-3 hitting everyone is charmed. Its pretty easy to tell.

This has been said, before. OS knows that everyone would like to be able to see charms, the problem is that if they do that, they'll have to make many other SC items visible and they're scared that it will decrease the sales on charms, so it will probably never happen...

lol agreed on the Charms and pots thing. However there is a good way to figure both out. Pots is easy just watch their HP. Fairly easy to figure out if they used one but Im sure yall knew that lol.
Charms get the suspected charmer to dmg test you then you dmg test them back. If they wont fight em and just look for the strongest hits from both players. After that you can normally get a good idea.
Perfect example I was fighting Warlock_V2 and I thought he was charmed cause Deva only dide like 300 to him. But on a dmg test Magic Blast only did about 1k to me which is horrible since my mdef fails ._. Turns out he had +9 Armor lol. He proved he wasnt charmed.

Just to butt in on another servers thread, you can't always tell when someone pots. There are some people who use a T1 hp pot along with their stone when they pvp because most people don't really notice that little extra jump.

And yes charms and cookies should be visible. No one cares about the rest of the SC boosts, you can tell if someone has on a suit, and extenders are obvious.

lmao I actually never thought about someone doing that. I know Id never notice someone usin a T1. lmao Ive been accused of potting so many time when I use Vamp Strike. They flip and quit fighting tellin me my HP jumped up twice in like 3 seconds. Im like calm down its a move like a cleric healing themselves. lol.
As far as sc goes all I wear is a Holy Light suit cause I like it. Not even for the crit. However Im very willing to take it off and fight w/o sc if you ask me too haha. I hate sc freaks who refuse to fight you w/o their sc items on. You know they fail. lmao

Totally agree with omega on that. People who pot during PvP and deny it are even more fail. I'd respect you more if you admitted it.
I can't say I've never potted (nor can many people) bit when I do I can admit that I did. And Ive only been charmed once in my entire life and I did admit I was.

well maybe OS could tweak the charms so that mages cant take them....then again a mage taking ur charms would mean u have to buy more = more money for OS. lmao knowing them theyd leave it like that. :P or maybe they could make it so a mage can take ur visible charms but they come back after a limited amount of time? :o idk just a suggestion. :/

Not exactly. You should have an ability where you click on someone, rightclick on portrait and be able to select "Time Limited items" to see if they're charmed. But, if OS is so obsessed with money they just want MORE make an item you need to see that that you need to BUY with sc. I dunno just a suggestion. And about the killing people and making them angry, they work hard to get the exp. You killing them and taking they're exp for no reason, charming, and lying about is just makes you an absolute fail, especially if your 10+ levels higher than them.
