Well,

I did not notice particular walk-mesh (well, is it called walk-mesh in Fiesta?) problems in Roumen. And as often as I died (so that I had to run trough it uncountable times) I think I would have tripped it all ;)

Also I did not notice particular LAG problems within Fiesta. At least no lag which could not explained with networking trouble, too. Sometimes I got disconnected, with one of following causes:

- Fiesta just vanished. This may be a Vista problem.
- Fiesta eat up all RAM (I only got 1 GB, it's Vista)
- Connection to server lost (or whatever, a popup window)

Sometimes I noticed lag. This is the typical zoning of characters: They move by and suddenly jump back. Or my character fights mob and the situation suddenly warps to a dead mob and my character has finished the fight. And it was most times neither crowded nor heavy mob. However your mileage might vary, if you play a character without auto-fight-mode (mage/wizard). But AFAICS you can do chaincasting, that is, issue the command before the recharge time to immediately fire the spell.

All I can see is, that Fiesta was designed not to be very lag intensive. In crowded areas there might be a lag until all the many chat information is forwarded, but for me this all worked quite well. However I only came to a cleric with level 20.

Sometimes I died shortly after the heal, so I see the heal effect and the "warping" window. Perhaps this is intended if you die just before the heal.

However this reminds me of one (small) bug in the server selection screen. If no server is available (like your Internet connection dropped), you just have the window with all the weird moving dragon/pokemon/whatever, but no login screen appears. And no close button etc. either. However you still can press Alt-F4 to close (if I remember right) or the Windows key to bring up the Windows menu.

Please note that I ran the first closed beta of Fiesta on a Windows Vista laptop with some Intel graphics chipset and a small-band DSL connection (384 kBit/s from Internet and 64 kBit/s to Internet).
