Soo I was thinking of making an archer. Might cap along the lines of 5x. So question is do you think an archer would be able to kite large amounts of mobs In BoD? (5x dungeon) I figure with full +9ed hi end gears and a cleric to tag along it would be possible.
Can archers kite mobs in other dungeons? I see them a lot in TR but I guess thats different :P
I never see anyone in BoD doing it so thats why im slighty hesitant. Think its possible? or just a waste of time?

Kiting mobs in BoD is where I taught myself to kite personally :rolleyes: I kited the mobs to the right as soon as you enter. Got ks'ed/trained a lot for doing so since all I was doing was kkiting them over and over and over...but hey Oo practice makes perfect.

Never really had a cleric tag a long either but if you feel you need to, go right ahead. But I personally loved kiting the mobs in BoD and then went from there to 5x abyss and so on.

As for the large amounts, hmmm it is possible and more on how you feel about it: meaning how comofortable you are with kiting. Obviously as you get higher in levels, you get more of a feel for it and know/learn how much you can or cannot kite

I've done it on my archer. Are you interested in using the archer for farming/kiting for drops? I guess what is the reason more or less. If you have some friends you farm tk with maybe think about hitting 66, I use my archer to pull TKs for other people and kite for academy people on occasion.
