if you're low on cash, you need to solo. get heal, bash, and power/defence buff at the very least, and just farm farm farm the drops.

Hmm....
Sorry buddy, but clerics not only have the most skills, most of them are freakishly awesome.
What you can afford not to buy....
Trip/Bleed - This attack skill is broken in some fashion, and is currently slightly less useful than inserting your weapon in your own earhole.
Immune - I got it, but unless I'm hanging around somewhere that hosts a lot of poison/disease/bleed using enemies, I don't ever use it.
Stoneskin - If, and only if, you're not planning on being in combat, you can do without this one.
Your opposing mastery - Whichever weapon you choose, you can safely ignore masteries of the other, and pick 'em up when you fancy later.
Eventually, you will come into your own and be able to buy all these skills regardless. I suggest you do, Immune will save you some SP in the long run eventually, Stoneskin will simply save you, and trip/bleed may eventually be fixed and become useful.

If Trip/Bleed doesn't inflict Bleed on the target, why get it? Bash does more damage than both Trip and Bleed.

one would get trip/ bleed for the slight amount more Damage per second than just using bash.

a reason to get trip/bleed is to add to a skill chain that clerics don't usually get.
