Recently a thread was posted calling me a "thief". I was also sent private messages demanding that I return the gears I "stole".
Rumours about me started to circulate and false accusations were made against me. I've only found out that people on a MSN network were discussing this incident (and calling me a thief ofc) from a friend that contacted me with questions a few minutes ago.
For those interested/partaking in the discussion about me, here are the exact details of the whole incident from start to finish:
- An alt character was vending a HG Crossbow +10 (with Koichi's name on license), along with a mixture of 95-96 archer armors +9. I offered 75G and approximately 35g each for the armors and procured them almost immediately. I asked the character if it was Koichi, but also suspected it of being K*******16, as he was given the crossbow by Koichi (post in AI thread). After numerous rounds of conversation the alt claims that he was "given" the gears by K*******16. I purchased the gears and a day later, realizing I can't sell for much profit, sold to the first decent offer I got from Valerie.
- A few days ago I was checking market place for items to buy, and saw my thread necro'd with somebody demanding that I return "his" gear. A few hours later I found the thread in Apoline forums calling me a thief, and a pm in my inbox demanding that I buy the gears back from Valerie.
- I refused to comply as I PAID for everything I purchased. I do not know of the history of these items, and I do not find myself responsible just because I was given sob stories. At the time, I was just a buyer, and so was Valerie. I've offered the guy as much information as I could so that he could report me (and he did). I've got nothing to hide as I stole nothing, and OutSpark does keep a record of all in game trades (that would prove I paid for everything), along with IPs associated with each account (which would prove I never "hacked" his buddy).
- The guy continued to spread lies about me after all the assistance I've provided, to which I find ridiculous. Just because I bought gears on sale it made me a thief ? What if some one else bought them ? Would that also make the person a thief ?
Now for the funny part:
- A statement was made saying someone saw "AisakaTG" selling the items. Now, I don't vend on AisakaTG, and that is a fact. So how does this "hack victim" managed see AisakaTG selling them is beyond me, unless he knows me well of course.
- The nub (who claims to be a random 3x given gears by K*******16) also knows Koichi, and even knew he went to Cypion, so is this really some "random" nub, or a friend of Koichi?
- It's impossible to "hack" an account unless the password was extremely simple, or given out. OS accounts require both alphabet and numbers in pw, it would take EXTREMELY long periods of time to crack such a pw according to lockdown.
So people, use your heads. Am I stealing or is somebody too trusting of his "friend" ? I will leave the investigating to OutSpark, but seeing I'm still being called a thief after I thought I've cleared everything up, I find it necessary to post this.
I've never scammed anyone or stole anything the three years I've played at OutSpark, and if you don't know me, don't judge.
