enhancing

so i just did my level 20 class upgrade quest and got myself a rune wand.. now i want to upgrade it

but i've never done it before(my previous weapon was a staff i got from KQ with +4 on it, so i never bothered enhancing)

now, when i try to enhance i can't put my weapon in the box where it should be, i checked on wiki and nothing about it
i can put my elrue/lix/xir's into their box perfectly fine, i'm kinda puzzled here

Un-equip your weapon.

Also, be warned. The chances of failure or even completely destroying your weapon are fairly high. You're looking at a pretty major loss at level 20 if you break your weapon and don't have/can't afford a replacement.
