in most MMO's i'm usually a poor person, i hate grinding for XP and i hate grinding for money even more and the state of the mage in this game makes it only worse
now i reached level 20 and become a wizmage, and the training costs suddenly changed from less then 1s to 3-5s, this is something i can't cough up(especially since i broke my rune wand while enhancing it :( i had to buy a new one)
now, how can i effectively get money without having to fight too much
(btw: fix mage solo'ing please)

It gets better once you get a few levels past 20, get only the bare essentials until you make some more money. Also it's better to level without doing kqs if you need money, those give a lot of exp with almost no money so spells will eventually crush you. On one of my characters I bought every skill and armor I needed from 20-30 and by 30 after buying all that had around 60 silver.

ok u can do two things. You can either shut up and improve your alchemy skills or you can sell all the materials you find and be filthy rich

It gets even harder when you reach 25+ :P
Uh, just sell all the loot you don't need. For example, you make scrolls & potions, sell the stone materials. Or what I did, I made a new character to sell Elrue, because I had about 300 dusts in my inventory.
The link Trebori posted pretty much sums up everything, though.

Yup there is a money lack at level 20-24 (more or less) just go past it and you will swim on silvers until 35 unless you refine (aka destroy) weapons xD.
Another thing, to level up party, the bigger the merrier. To get money solo in the case of mages stick to greens or low yellows.

I'm confused. I'm a lvl 26 FULL INT mage and I never, ever, not at all, not at all, not in the least bit, spend any money for training. I have no idea why does it cost you 3-5s. Perhaps your training on the wrong mobs? Perhaps you never heard of something called Resting? The potions that I make with my production skill, are not only sufficient, but are more than I need. Plus, I only use them in time of emergencies.

by training costs they mean getting upgraded skills/equip not what it costs them to recover health and sp so like buying firebolt lvl 4 when you have lvl 3

yea try getting alot of alchemy ingredints an sell them, the best way to make money is sell old things u font use or need, or make potions and sell them, be sure that u production cost is less then wat u sell them for. Example if it takes 50c to make a potion sell it for like 80c, convience ppl pay for it, thats y food at the movie theaters cost so much more than the same food if u bought at lets say Wal-Mart.
