I know whats wrong.Right click your desktop and go to properties.Click settings than advanced.In the advanced window that pops up click the troubleshooting tab.Make sure that bar is all the way to the right =).

Try reading OTHER troubleshooting threads, ya? Firewall. Do you have one? If so, that's what it is, most likely. With every new patch, you need to re-add the program to your firewall.

And..Just to touch on the bit that made me giggle the most..
If your brother could probably fix this problem, why didn't you ask him in the first place instead of resorting to our apparently retarded selves?
