Hi. I just started Fiesta today, i made a mage and im getting the hang of it, but im somewhat confused with some things.

1. How do you sell items?
2. Do you have to buy skills or is there another way to obtain them?
3. What build should i use?
4. What are production skills, and which should i go with?

Please help. Thanx in advance

1. Selling items can be done 2 ways.
-One is to sell to the NPC's, when you click on them a little chat box should come up and some options should appear at the bottom... any NPC that has a "Purchase" button you can sell items to. Press that button, a menu should come up with things you can purchase from that NPC. Ignore those, leave that menu open and go to your inventory. To sell and item RIGHT click on it. To sell in BULK press SHIFT then right click on the bulk item.

-The second is to make yourself a vendor, im not 100% on how to do this... someone finish this one for me =] (all i know is that you can press "B" and some menu comes up and you do stuff there... but i havent tried it yet... )

2. Mostly you will BUY your skills, there are a few quests that will allow you to obtain skills without paying for them... but there aren't many i've encountered only one so far (lvl 26 mage).

3. Generally you wanna Spam Magic Missile [01] it isnt costly on SP and does reasonable dmg. When you have obtained other spells, you can use the spells but have MM[01] as a base for any attack on a monster. So basically when attacking you can do .... MM[01], OtherSpell[01],MM[01],OtherSpell[02]... and so on.

4. Production skills allow you to make some cash. Monsters drop items, with these items allow you to make useful potions/scrolls/other various things used by players. To be honest i dont know which is better. I dont think you can go too wrong in this category, choose at your discretion.

Hope this helped. (somewhat =D )

Thanx. lol i figured out how to sell as a vendor but the selling to NPC is tricky for me, but ill keep trying. uhm... just wondering, how much are elrues and power tiers{1} worth?cuz i wanna start vending them. =D

and to answer ur question about casting:
1. open up skill info (press k)
2. drag and drop your skill into a hotkey (bottom left ull see some boxes)
3. click your target.
4. cast your spell by cclicking your hotkey.

4. cast your spell by cclicking your hotkey.

=D

He means either right click it or press the corresponding hot key number.

To sell to NPC:

Right click sells one item at a time

Right click + shift. lets you choose how many of an item to sell.

Right click + ctrl. Sells the entire stack.

Ok. I'm a lvl 26 mage (still a noob =P) but I hope I can answer your questions:

1- You already know vendor selling, so I won't explain it. Now, to NPC your items, open any market window (merchant, weapon seller or whatever) and simply right-click any item in your inventory that you want to sell. If you, for example, have a 40 quantity of something and you want to sell only 20, hold shift + right-click and specify the amount. If, for example, you have a 50 quantity of a particular item and you want to sell everything at once without going through the trouble of pressing right-click 50 times, then simply click Ctrl+right-click and this will sell them all.

2-Most skills you need to buy them from the skill master (95% of the skills). However, some skills you get them through other ways. For example, Magic Burst (Teir 1) can only be obtained through exchanging 400 fame for it. And so on ... but depend mostly on the skill master shop.

3- Concenring the build that you should follow. This area gets a little controversial. Some people say it is best to go full INT (I'm following this). Some people say go Spr/INT. Others say End/Spr. And so on. What I would recommend is, see whichever of these fit your style-of-play and choose it. Full INT will provide you with more damage but you'll lack in the defense/max HP department. Full END gives less damage but more def and hp. I'm still a little bit confused myself on this area.

4- Production skills are ... well .. those skills that you can produce stuff from O.o. You can produce potions, rocks (used to enhance), scrolls (used to boost stats .... what I would recommend is Scroll Produc. and Potion Produc. but that's just me. See which ever you prefer.

5- As to the other question by the other dude, "How to cast spells". First of all click K. Your skill window should pop-up. You'll see one skill (the skill that you start with). Drag that skill to a hotkey. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8.... then simply click on the monster and click the hotkey that you assigned.

Hope this helps.

Peace be into you all.

Actually rings are preatty cheap unless they provide bonus for several stats I sugest to use it yourself and just sell to NPC when you find better ones. You can get a bit more coppers from players than npc but ussualy it's not worth the time in vendo mode.

I doubt anyone would pay more than 100c for that.

when i first started i couldnt cast spells either, if you read the spell it says you need a WEAPON so make sure you have your staff equipped.

i think thats what he was asking for.
