very confused.... help?

I've been having this issue for a while, and I've looked for an answer for it, but I haven't seen one, so here it is:

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice, and lowered my firewall. I'm not sure what else I need to do. Sooooo....

I just noticed something. when it doesn't work, in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, there is a message that says, "downloading patch..." but no black screen appears or anything.

Manually install the patch from this thread (http://www.outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23816). Restart the launcher (for god's sake, don't waste time redownloading/reinstalling it >.>), if it freezes on 'Applying patch', restart your computer and reopen the launcher once again.

I'd like to say it /will/ work, but each computer is different and yours might be more stubborn than mine. Good luck ^^

Well first off that link is useless. There is no place to get that launcher update patch. So those of us with this problem seem to be getting ignored cause that patch hasnt been available since i downloaded this game and started having this same problem. I am giving up on playing for now. Maybe when i come back in a couple months they will have a WORKING game and not a waste of my time with no resources to fix the broken thing.
