Question about usefullness of Fighters

hello there. I have a qquick question. I know FIghters are needed to be tanks and be there on the front lines to deal most of the damage, but what i want to ask is how do they help other people without being in a party?

Like clerics for instance can heal and res random people without being in their party. I hope i made sense in this question, if not then i'm sorry.

only clerics can help random people and that's solely because they can heal and res

all others classes can't help, they is mainly because of the looting system
if we help a person to kill a monster there's a chance we will steal his kill, as long as that isn't fixed all classes except clerics won't have any non-party utility

thats not completely true, fighters is the second class that can help, others...cant help them on the killing, as well as clerics cant help killing or will ks, but fighters can tank for others..

I was bored one day, didn't feel like grinding on any of my chars, and was just waiting for a KQ to begin.

So I went to Forest of Tides, and starting kicking and mocking everything in sight, then going into my mushroom and just sitting there. A smart archer saw what I was doing, and started picking off the mobs 1 by 1, while I kept them on me. I essentially power leveled this guy for about 20 minutes. :)

You have to be way over-leveled for this to work, or you'll have to actually use your stones/potions, but it's an easy way to help out a lower level friend.
