Hate some epith players

When I was trying to sell my Lv30 axe +9 for some other weapons for my other char, I got flamed by overcharging ........hmm I was charging something like 5g for a +9, price of 3 kari somewhat.

I got stupid offers like 1g,2g,3g ........ I got flamed like mad each time I shout

When I finally sold it for like 4g, I shouted that I am buying another lv30 +9 for the price of 4.5~5g, I got flamed again by trying to scam others, and blaming me for spoiling the market so they can't buy their +9 weapon with their gold ......lol.


I lost money (which isn't a big deal to me) , and I got flamed twice(wow big deal here wth did i do) once from the cheapo hagglers once from the lame overpricers, I really hate how the market operates how everyone is selfish here one side trying to haggle like mad and one side trying to raise price like mad and no one co-operates just flame each other. And good job venting your frustrations at me lol

What can I say? Welcome to the wonderful world of Epith. My suggestion: just vend. Don't advertise. Take your time with it. :/ You're bound to get flamed by the noobs out there.

The so-called economy's even screwed up in game. Personally to me, 5 gold is a lot, but that's only because I'm a poor-*** who's too lazy to put up a shop for anything XD

I'm with everyone else about the n00bs though. Just go about your way & don't mind them.

For 5g though, I would be curious as to what the stats of the weapon were. Couldn;t have been just a base +9 :\

Even a white +9 lvl 30 gives 3 karrises so its worth 4.5 g ~ 6 g. 4.5 g is not overpriced its a fair price.

first off: OUCH to your title!!! :eek: it's not a good one... I am very sorry you got treated this way, not all Epithians are bad and though this happened to you, it is unfair to say all are bad because of this. :(

Secondly, you can always, vend, post on the marketplace of the forums, roar, post in party chatting, ask others if they need one, etc.

If you choose to shout for your sale, then yes, something like you stated could happen.

Also, if you had a price in mind of what you wanted, I would have stated that.. as you stated you were getting "stupid" offers of 1g,2g, and 3g, yet sold it for 4g :confused:

Also, you can report people..screenshot and submit a ticket to a CSR.

Another thing, they were venting I guess at you and now you are clearly doing the same, not in game but here.. oO ...... the market can truly be a funny place (not ha ha but you know what I mean) and sadly, it is a learning experience. Sometimes things sell really well and at others, not. :rolleyes: and that is the way it is.

Again, sorry this happened to you but there are other ways to sell as well. Hope you have better luck next time and not all are bad. :o

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you can't take things too seriously in Epith.

Mikey's right, us and the other main guild in Epith go together like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince Mcmahon in a wrestling storyline. I can't remember the exact day it started, but I know it was in either July or August of 2009.

Most important thing to remember, is this is only a game, not your real life.

And before I was wondering, why?

Because im not in any way rich (only have 10g to my name) but whenever I can I like to give away 50/100s silver here and there because it helps people. Then when I got one of my friends to join. They were constantly asking for money/pwrlvling and all these things. And I realized to myself. Its people like him that are ruining everything. And about a month later (today) hes still doing it. He always asks for extra money, instead of waiting to see if I will do something without him asking and instead of saying please or anything like that its always. Hey mike come to the tower. And I log off.

Its just fate who you end up with. And maybe someday people will see that just because its a game doesn't mean its always got to be your way.You can treat it like real life to if you want.

This is true. I have lots of Helga disagreements with some people, and make sure to express my feelings about those issues. :) I don't think I could disagree more with some people's views on Helga, even if I had an electronic disagreeing machine.

But, I never actually have hated anyone in Epith, I doubt I ever will hate anyone either. It's only a game, so it's not that big of a deal really :3 A dumb game such as this one isn't any reason to hate somebody.

Its true the market in Epith is shot but I have met some really really cool people here. I have tried to play on other servers and i can't..>< just <3 epith too much. C: I think Karis messed things up pretty badly if you ask me.

Some dumb newb tried to make me pay 15g for a +9 raging hammer kq stat'd today, I been here for 3 years now, he didn't even know the difference between kq and abyss statd. But I haggled him down to 12, just goes to show experience > newb in most cases. But experience < noobs unfortunately welcome to epith >.> and at takeyourwallet, I've wanted to kill a few non english speakers for failing to understand the difference between top and bottom in flaming mine. (maybe not hate but darn close lolz)

it had been so long since I posted I had forgotten what I said :o but I can't figure out the Epith economy at all sometimes =.= I sell my stones that I make on my fighter...sometimes, for the price I want and at others, dirt cheap just to get rid of them.. think I sold just about all my stacks of t3 elrue for..idk 8s? xD in eldy I saw some stores selling the same stone for 10 or 20s .. ehhh xD I didn't care.. I just wanted them gone :o

but I have been playing for over 2 years and tbh, I am not sure I will ever understand the economy so op I feel your pain based on that alone :o

I'm sorry to hear that.
Trying to buy and sell enhanced weapons and armors and lower levels can be a pain in the buttocks, with the lower levels trying to define the prices and the next generation of the Fiesta players. Just hang in there, once you're higher level, you don't get flamed (as often) and generally, people CAN be nicer than the noobs.
And just remember, a majority of those noob characters will quit. (; Just hang in there til you're up in our league my dear. :D
