New Cleric Guild A Reality

Hey all. I know the idea was being passed around for a while, but I'm actually starting to save up for an all-cleric guild on the Teva server. I looked a while to find one, but none came up on this server, so I decided I would start one myself.

On a thread asking about such a guild, several people were interested in the idea. With that in mind, I wanted to ask again.

Would clerics be interested in a non-PVP guild that is based on the idea that every deserves o be revived, buffed and healed without payment or gripe? It's our job as clerics to take care of other players in this manner.

It would be a guild for high clerics, although I'm not sure about any level limit or not. I'm still not totaly sure about how the guild thing works, so I would like it if anyone with information could help me.

I can keep anyone who is interested posted on the money ammount.

So, what do you think? Is this worth my time and money?

there is an all cleric guild in apoline, its OK, but not amazing idea in my opinion.

We have done well in my opinion, not that I am biased or anything, and have grown quite a bit. We have even tossed around ideas of starting branch guilds for lower/higher leveled members - but we aren't quite ready for that yet.

I'm intrigued, however I think certain clauses should be appended to your guild's general operations statute:

1) Reserve the right to revive a player if said player cannot be swiftly reached due to distance and/or the presence of highly dangerous spawns, whether said guildsman cleric has backup or not.

2) Reserve the right to assist a player if said player is making an ****** of himself/herself. Shouting "Heal plox! PLZ plz PLZPLZPLZ hIL Y WONT u hil u a n00b heal me now!" when you're busy fending off a miniboss like Piggy Bat, as an example.

3) Reserve the right to assist a player further if said player has been found guilty of continued abuse, i.e. botting, KSing, mob training, shouting vulgarities to other players, etc.

Basically my main point is for your guild to assist within reason. Just my suggestions, your mileage may vary. May good fortune bless your guild!

And if dotHackers continues to lose active members I just might sign up for membership application. ^^)

The all Cleric guild in Apoline was [Cleric_Club],

But it was bugged and I was in it,

obviosly it's fixed yet I knew that was an all cleric.

Wrong. Gaianyc'sHospital is also an all-cleric guild in Apoline. I know a great many of their members. (Half my list on Apoline are Clerics. Lol.) I would join yours, but I already promised a friend I'd join hers when she makes it. (Halfway there muahahahahahaha.)

I really don't see the point in PvP at this moment. There are no in-game rewards to speak of, and the only thing you get out of it is bragging rights. If it was my guild, I'd prefer it to be a non-PvP kind. That way we can also be neutral mediators in disputes between other guilds. I don't think any other guild fills that role among all the servers...

i would be down to join an all cleric guild on Teva since that is where my main is. "Ra1n" is a lvl 22 High. I would think that the guild should be a healing guild with a neutral faction. As the guild grows, then the idea of PvP may be brought up again.

Well I myself was in a pure cleric guild so i can tell you,it is better you be healing only and not pvp.And being pure cleric guild should be friendly and peaceful.

Well you dun wan too see a scene where hold guild of cleric run to kill people right?And cleric dmg is not that strong,the advantages of cleric is just they can survive longer in battle so you will have a hard battle if you make your guild into pvp guild.

The thing is, if ur not PvP then ur not considered that active meening alot of ppl wont join.
Trust me many of my fellow guildies have left because of no PvP.
But this is all up to u.

It sounds like an interesting idea and I would likely join (not sure though, depends on if I ever play my cleric again).
My biggest concern about a guild of clerics meant to help others is that people will begin to annoy the guildmembers and abuse their services by telling them how they are obligated to assist them...but other then that, if you get things started I'd consider joining/helping.

Well the member leaving problem didnt happen on GaianycsHospital,we not allow to pvp,kill-steal or mob-lure and the only thing we allow to do is Help people,yet most of our member didnt abbandon it even no pvp. :)

I won't vote for this because i'm a cleric too. Only healing and do nothing is just too boring. You have to fight for your own life/exp in fiesta too don't you think i'm right? I see many clerics do pvps. And they won't die easily. They can heal. Professional clerics can heal and fight at the same time. Have you guys ever seen a cleric tank before? I do! And that...wasn't me XD Healing and ressurect others is a cleric's job. But that doesn't mean we can't fight for our own/party.

I never said we couldn't fight. I just wantr the guild to be about the healing aspect and not the kick-*** aspect. I have tanked before. ^^ I like tanking. People are always surprised I can kill things and keep my party alive. Dun dun dun.

But I wwant the guild to be about the healing, because that's what we're here for.

Yes I have tank before and I even can heal and fight in party or solo...But cleric only advantages in pvp is they able to survie longer only but dont forget cleric dmg not that powerful and they dont have some skill like Fighter can stun,decrease defend and other,Mage can slow and attack from far,Archer can poison bleed(this can be heal by cure) and attack far.Cleric can only spam heal before they can catch up with them...yes Invicible but pvp sometime is many against 1 so Invicible is not the effective(maybe if you challenge low lv ppl then they will take time to break it)

I even try heal rev buff and fight in the same time.

i like the concept. i was in a guild that was about 95% clerics so i know how well it can work. saddly due to a few internal disputes among some people whome didnt enjoy each others company, it split into 3 guilds, and i have yet to rejoin any due to complications with my internet service provider frying my wireless routers all the time.

Update time. ^^ Alright. Right now the money thing is a little shifty, due to circumstances I'm to ashamed to talk about, so you'll have to bare with me. In the mean time, I'm fiddling around with a guild website. Yes, you heard me right.

Below you will also see i've been fooling around with a banner. ^^ I think it's nifty. >> At least I hope it is. I spent a good time cutting out the little weapons. Thank goodness I found a cleric with a mace that was holding still, so I could get a good screenshot!

there is an all cleric guild on teva...it is also a non waring guild...its holyshield the admin for that is firestarter or MagicHealer
