Hello, I decided to try my hand at the cleric class! so I have some questions

1. What is a good cleric build? I was thinking 1:2 str:end.

2. Good armor "build"?

3. What should I spend my impowerment points on? Clerics have like....200 skills...I really dont wanna mess up...

1) 25 spr rest end or full end
2) end/spr/dex are the stats you're going to want on your armor.
3)Heal: Max cd and power, possible sp consupmtion too <----most important
Rejuvinate: max cd

Other thing you could use them for:
Invince: 1 point on duration
awaken: max cd
chain cast: max cd
trip/bleed: max cd, I put 1 point on power too
bash: max power
the aoe heal you get at 60 that I forget the name of: max cd

Stats, Gears and Builds

>>>>>Stat Points<<<<<

Free Stat points:

STR: +1.2 damage per point added; This is a good stat to use if you intend to be a solo cleric
DEX: +0.2% Evasion [after 50points it changes to +0.1%], and +0.3% Aim; a good stat to have on gears and in your build
END: +5HP , +0.5 Def , 0.1% block rate [after 50 it changes to 0.05%]; In my opinion, this is the wisest choice for clerics to Allocate their stat points.
INT: +1.2 Magic Damage; Useless for clerics.
SPR: +5SPR, +0.5 Magic Def , and +0.2% crit [after 25spr it changes to 0.1%, and after61 it gives 0.05% crit]; Useful if you intend to solo or if you intend to PVP mages often

Stats on gears:

STR: +1 Damage
DEX: +1 Evasion, +1 Aim
END: +5HP , +1 Def
INT: +1 Magic Damage
SPR: +5SP , +1 MDef

The priority stats on your gear as a cleric should be:
PVP:
END | SPR | DEX/ STR

PVE:
END | DEX | SPR

>>>>>Builds<<<<<

These are not by any means the only builds for cleric, but they are a few of the more popular ones and ones you may want to consider when building you're cleric. You may even consider combining one aspect of one build with another aspect of a different one to create your own personalized hybrid cleric.

Full END:
Full END allows for you to take a lot of hits, have nice defense, the highest block rate available through build, and the best HP possible when combined with the right gears. Full END is the ideal build for many clankers and those who like to take hits in PVP rather than deal them.

Full STR: *
Full STR allows you to have the best damage obtainable for clerics. This is a good solo build if you intend to use cash shop items to make up for any critical rate not obtained by putting points in to SPR in your build.

Full SPR:
Full SPR allows you for the maximum amount of skills to be cast before running out of SP as well as giving you higher magic defense and the highest critical rate obtainable by build alone.

25 SPR, rest END:
This is a nice build for clerics who like to solo on occasion, PVP often, or are more party based. The END aspect of this build allows for you to take several hits from either monster or melee based classes in PVP. The SPR adds critical to making soloing as a cleric a little bit faster and allows for a few more points in magic defense if you are in a PVP situation with mages.

25 SPR, rest STR: *
This is the best solo build for clerics if you DO NOT intend to use cash shop items. The SPR adds critical to make taking things out a bit faster as well as a bit more magic defense and the STR adds to your damage output.

30 DEX, rest END:
The addition of DEX in this build helps amp up your aim and evasion, the added aim helps for soloing and the added evasion aids in avoiding attacks while pulling or in PVP senarios while the END adds to your HPS and block rate. You can solo with this build but it geared more towards party PVE.

30 DEX, rest STR: *
Like the above stated build the DEX adds in your aim and evasion and the STR adds to your maximum damage output. This build is more geared toward soloing and PVP.

50 END rest STR/ 2:1 STR : END: *
This build allows for additional block rate, HP and def for the END stat and a little extra damage from the STR stat. This build is a decent solo build while still allowing for the ease of grinding in parties.

30 DEX, 50 END, rest STR: *
DEX adds to your aim and evasion and complements nicely with DEX in your gear, END adds to your HP def and Block rate and STR adds to your over all damage which is a nice build for soloing.

* For any soloing builds (Indicated with an asterisk) be advised that you may considering adding in 25 points of SPR to max your free stat crit. However, these point are not necessary if you intend to use cash shop items that add crit. Some builds already have these points implemented but will still be indicated.

You may consider empowering SP consumption on any skills you use a lot, but be advised you may have to remove points from other skills to cover this.

That guide is thorough but eh I'm not a fan of dex as a free stat it just feel so wasted. Aim scrolls make you the closest thing to 100% accurate so you're just getting some evasion out of dex.

One thing to keep in mind with stats, it's an awful lot easier to get def than damage. You have multiple pieces of armor you can enhance for def, but one weapon(for that matter it's easier to get shield scrolls than str potions).

The overall effect of free stats is highly overstated. The real effect of free stats is their special effects, the 5% shield block from 50 end does more than all the hp and def you get from those stats. STR's ignore def effect is amazing on something with really high def. The crit on spr is the only thing that makes that stat worth putting points in.

I like the 25 spr, 50 end, rest str build cause you're still defensive but if you ever need to hold hate on something the damage and crits help, plus it helps with soloing. Full str or str/spr are fine too, get a +3 shield and you'll probably have more def than all the full end clerics with no enhanced gear, and no one worries about them being too squishy. BTW there's not wrong with full end either, perfectly acceptable build, don't want people getting the impression I think that's a bad build.

I know I didn't exactly give a solid answer but that's just the way cleric is, it's not like an archer or mage where there's not a lot of freedom in builds. You need to decide what helps you the most.

Do not underestimate DEX. It is more useful on clerics than many people seem to realize.

Even with only 8% block rate from my HG shield I only take 3-4 of 10 hits with DEX in my build.

And the point of the guild is to encompass most if not all aspects of play and lay them on the table for the reader to decide. Not all of the build listed have DEX in them, not even most of them. There are a large variety of builds there that even if every cleric's skill empowertments were the same, there would be a huge difference in play style just from the aspect of build alone.
