Does Training In A Party Give Extra Exp?

yea i was just wondering if training in a party gives a small exp boost while training, because when im in a party i see a "x104%" or something like that but my exp gets smaller... alot of people say you get less exp if your in a party but other people say other wise... Whats the Truth?

If your in a party with classes that deal damage quickly (= kill quick) exp won't be extra but will come faster than solo traning.

hmm this system just doesn't make sense... when i started playin windslayer about 1 to 2 years ago you got bonus exp for the more party members you have.
and if the party system works how majorbanana said, then what does the x104% thing mean the next to your exp that you get 4 every kill, and the x104% gets larger the bigger party you have.
so what does that mean, and you also get a second "multiplier" that is x60% just 4 have a mentor.

In a party you get less experience per kill individually but your killing mobs 2 to 3 times as fast, so your earning more. If you party with someone within 3 levels of you you will probably make around 20%-40% more per hr. But at the very least partying will save you gold on potions because you won't be using as much.

There..slappygoodtimes explained what I was saying with more detail, this type of party system is widely used in many mmorpgs developed in Asia, at first it never made as much sense to me but it sort of makes sense if you look at it this way:

-Party = Exp is shared out with everyone when its gained, so it decreases because everyone gets a fair share of the exp gained from killing a mob.
-If your party is good, you should be able to make up for the decreased exp and gain it even faster. If you were still gaining exp the normal exp from soloing, that would mean with the fast kills its like double exp 24/7.

1 game I used to play where the higher you levelled the more exp you got was Legend Of Ares, but they shutdown.

the numbers mean nothing. the exp is the same since ws had a exp nurf. this would prrobably on till summer =_=
