Ok first of all let me explain it to you,

Yesterday i fromatted my computer from win xp to windows vista ultimate.
On win xp fiesta works like a charm.
but on windows vista it just keeps cheking for updates and i also can't click play ofcourse.
i just downloaded "Outspark_Fiesta.1.2.64.exe".

now i turned of the firewall = same problem
tried to run it in compatebilletie mode of windows XP sp2, but then the game cheks update and i can klick play but then i get "There was a problem logging you in, please chek if your usern. and pw. are correct and that you are running the correct version(Unauthorized: 421)

Braking my head over this ... caus i have all firewalls turned off.
And another thing is the Manual patcher from outspark link'd @
"http://cdn2.outspark.com/patches/launcher/Launcher.Patch.1.5.80.exe"
But the link is not working ... how can you manualy patch it when the link doesn't work ...

Are there any solutions ????
AND PLZ DON'T SPAM THIS THREAD SAYING "I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM :|:|"
Onley awnser with reasonable solutions plz !

Go back to Win XP and use that Vista disc for a coaster(That is all it is good for). Vista is garbage!

Vista is cutting edge when it comes to software unfortunately its ahead of its time and games and such have yet to catch on with the idea of never being fully in control of processor anymore. This is why Vista has so many problems with so many programs. But the fact is Vista has many advantages and its disadvantages are only because we have went one way for so long that we arent used to the new way.

Get over it Vista doesnt suck you just dont know enough to know better. I remember when people said XP was trash and to stick with your Windows ME where are those guys now ?

I do respect your opinion. But, you don't know what I do and don't know about it. I have a degree in Network Management and I Install servers for IBM. I deal with Vista all the time.
I personally think it is junk.(as do all the other Techs I know and work with)

I guess we can agree to disagree on this subject. :)

I have Vista, i like it, I just wish my games would run properly.
it is certianly "prettier" than any thing else from the windows line.
I really cant see much of a solution, but do you get:
Unhandled exception in thread started by <function launcher_startup at 0x017220F0>

LOL ^^
"cutting edge" ?
"ahead of its time"?

MS screwed up and the MS fan boys (usually people that write code for windows apps) just won't admit it.

The OS is bloated and loaded with intrusive DRM and validation checks which they planned to force everyone under the sun pay them for.

The Vista kernel is such a mess that MS has already admitted that the whole kernel will eventually need to be replaced in a future service pack.

Vista is to XP as ME was to 98.
You can talk up Vista all you want but it still won't make it any better.

Personally I like Linux and I use it for everything except Fiesta.

Just my opinion.
(And I am right so I don't care what anyone's counter argument is)
LOL

to solve the vista problem, you must find the fiesta launcher, right-click, select properties, and run this program as an administrator. once you're up to date, you may be able to deselect that option, but with the current client release you need to do that.

i run vista. Vista is good. U just can't use nortons with it, then it is bad. But first of all it isn't vista's problem because everyone with vista would be complaining also. And vista is ahead of its time and don't use it as a coaster. Most people just won't give it a chance. I actually prefer it over xp now. If u think about it Vista isn't screwed up. They updated to far tho. They didn't keep what they needed from older things. And LInux pwns all.

Ok i might not have a degree in networking but networking has 100% nothing to do with vista. Vista is operating system the networking is a whole diff part. I am a lvl 150 computer nerd. I am a minor in Computer information systems.

Anyway back on topic all i can say is to run windows update and update ur drivers to vista compatable. IF that doesn't work reinstall the game. You might be running into a software issue.
