Something like this (if you aren't around the person). It will be in the main/public chat area:

1) "/w" is the whisper command

2) Jhanniss is the name of the person (must be specificly spelled as the players name actually is.

3) "If you are..." is the message you want sent.

/w Jhanniss If you are online this will go through


If they're online, it will go through. If you didn't type their name correctly or the person is offline, the message will not go through.


Also, if the person is near you or you see their name in Shout or public chat, you can right mouse click their name and then select whisper.

click the 'i' symbol above the chat box
and make sure whisper is checked
