Hi, I thought it would be fun to test out your game, I was wrong.
The most IMPORTANT thing in game making is to make it easy to install, otherwise the main steam peeps will not bother.
Anyway back to the topic.
I downloaded the game yesterday (after the 1st minor did not work) and I installed it, when I opened Fiesta and it updated I got the apps.conf error. I fixed that error and It was updated.
However.
When it finished updating the updater would just freeze solid. The only way was to close the patcher from the task manger.
Is there a workaround like for the apps.conf error for the patcher stoping like that at the end. (it said it was completed also.)
You need to look at the way your game lanchers and start again with a better programmer that knows what he is doing. Go look at other mmorpg's like rose and tale of a pirate.
I know my way around a computer, if you need any information please ask.
To sum it up nicley about *** is going wrong. I guess if I had this problem others would of also.
Patcher freezes when update is done at 100% and is waiting for you to press close, which you cant do because its stop already.

what operating system do you run? vista? XP?
i have Vista and mine just stops and "applying patch" is in the bar at launcher window's base. i believe others with Vista have issues with the laucher/patcher system too.

I'm running xp 64 as well. Did it ever work for you yet? I posted the same question. Maybe it's not compatible with xp 64?

Didn't work, patcher still freezes. O well you tried. Guess no Fesita for me.
FYI my computer specs.
Amd X2 5200+
2gb ram
2900xt HD graphic card.
I was thinking that maybe 2 64bit cpu's was confusing it some how, has anyone else tested it on 2 64bit cpus before and got it to work?

It never patches, the game is bugged for most computers. Go download another game. There are heaps out there.

It stops at 100% downloading the patch with me as well! It doesent let me close it out, so I have to do the ctrl alt del thingy to close it. It also makes me eather skip, retry, ( doesent work) or abort the dowloading of the patch, Ive tried them all and if I hit skip, then it just goes to 100% and wont let me close it.( back to the beggining) I have XP and plenty of memory, and fiesta has worked for about 2 months with the only problem happening is that it did somthing similar to this, but then worked itself out. I tried dowloading that manual patcher but it always freezes and doesent finish downloading.....
Help!

Ok I made a workaround, you all must love me for this :D
When the patcher freezes hit ctrl alt del but do not quit it, instead right click and hit set affity (something like that) and change it to only use core 1 (uncheck the box).
Then restart and you can play. Ya I rule.

I have a single core processor and I have the same issue so I don't know what else you did unless you can be more specific. There are no affinity settings for the Celeron D320 3G processor in the Task manager because it's a single core!
