ok first of all, if your an all endurance character, don't try 2 handed weapons, you'll just screw up your character.

ok, to gain best benefiets, don't use skill empower points until lv.20. main reason, most people empower that one handed weapon move, which is pretty useless if your using a 2 handed weapon... so sword or axe, i suggest you max out power on the two handed sp move, buyable at lv.20 from warrior master in Elderine. other moves to upgrade would be percussion charge, and fatal slash for obvious reasons. (lowered def, or a non-moving target are easy prey for powerful 2 handed sword or axe.) i personally lowered the sp cost as fighters do have a sp problem.

attribute upgrading. ok this is where many people will disagree with me. if your already pre-determined to use axe, your best bet is to go all str(strength.) this is due to fact that axe is slow, and your def is lower than sword and sheild users, so you want to kill things in only a few hits. also due to lack of accuracy, you'll prababley become an addict to power scrolls. hahaha... yeah they really increase your accuracy. so you'll want to buy many of them. which really isn't too bad, as most people sell them for about 60-80 copper.

For two handed sword, and this is the point people disagree with me on, is going all dex. i first thought about this after a failed sword character in wich i had to constantley buy both accuracy and vital scrolls to stay alive because sword lacks a bit in both power and accuracy, compared to sword and shield, and axe. which means battles can become drawn out. this was my miracle answer. it fixes the slight problem of acuuracy. and, it also gives you a chance evade many attacks, so your hp gains a bit more security. and don't get me wrong for everyone that says end is better. but, end was more for shield users. because they have higher def, and the increase in shield block actually applies to to shiels users. also it only gives 1 def point every 2 upgrades. so you can't really upgrade you def in this style. again, end is for shield users, and only they have a hope of defending the hp boost it gives you. for 2 handed fighters, this accuracy and evasion is a blessing. because you want your hits to land. and evasion does offer some chance to protect your valuable hp, though this style works better for archers, you can get a large bit of benefiet from it as well.
