So here I am, I never played SoS in CB, and can't wait for it to be in OB.

The graphics engine is exactly like RO and I missed it SO bad while playing games like World of Warcraft.

But one question still remains. What class am I gonna level up?

Only one is out of the question, and it's a rogue (well, assassin actually, because i'm all up for an archer).

I'm kind of intrigued by the predictor, is it viable solo?
I always liked fighters, and I don't dislike magicians.

So, basically what I'm asking for is a Fun:Viability ratio for those classes (In your opinion).

When i'm talking about viability, I mean the ability to level up, and grind with the least money spent.

So for me right now it's (on a 5 scale)

Fighter 4:2
Magician 3:5
Rogue 3:3
Acolyte 3:2

I don't know if this is accurate, since I didn't play the game yet, but obviously since we're all waiting for it, I thought I could get a few of your opinions =)

Throw in your ratios!

Though I'm biased and would really say rogue since that was my main char, your best bet is probably fighter. You'll need to keep a good number of hp pots on you and less mp pots, or you'll be sitting a lot. Magician will use a lot of mp pots so it'll be a bit more expensive or a lot of sitting down to get mp back.

Predictors are more than viable solo, but getting that far with an aco can be a bit of a pain as far as I can tell.

Rogue: 5:3 <--- played both these classes in CB (fun fun class XD) ((Going archer :3, fun fun)
Fighter: 2:2.5 <---played both these classes in CB (Got bored at level 20, remade to rogue)
Aco (support) : 4:5 <-- (if your the kind that sits alot XD, plus people love you and want you in their party so its common curtousy to supply a few blues)
Mage: 1:5 (cheap b!4ches overpowered in low levels, :o <-- hugely my opinion, i've always found playing mage class boring and not my style, you can ignore this one :3)

In the earlier levels, the ratios are like this imo..

Fighter 5:4
Rogue 5:4
Magician 2:2
Acolyte 3:2

But in mid levels, it changes to this..

Fighter 3:3
Rogue 2:2 (this is around below lvl 43. They change dramatically afterwards, they become so cool to use.)
Magician 4:5
Acolyte 4:3

Then everyone becomes fun and viable when you reach the "high level" phase. These are strictly IMO's.

I think i'm gonna go with fighter... something like a 1:1 pow:agi build, or maybe 2:1, i'll see I guess.

Thanks for the replies!
