I need help with the job rank up quest for fighter.Any tips on how to fight myself?Alot of the stone goblin keeps getting in my way...>.< I wanna use 2 handed sword~~~~~~~ermmm...can anyoune also tell me roughly how much can blessed lix and lucky eulrue be sold?Short of money because of the other me......=_=' Thx alot!!!

For the class upgrade quest, be sure to have plenty of stones with you. A tip is that before approaching the red gem, take off your armor and weapon so that your cpoy won't hav them either; then put it back and kill him.

The Elrue price differs from each server; but they are usually around 2-3 silvers. [I think]

That whole 'naked' trick never worked for me. But I had a really hard time with my lvl20 quest and I finally did pass mine when a higher lvl cleric gave me a buff with gave me a large increase in hp and sp, I think it gives you +500 for each, but I can't say for certain. So my advice to you is stones, scrolls, and find a cleric who will be nice enough to give you the buff! It was a life saver for me.

if the naked trick don't help...atleast take the weapon off, this way it may take longer to kill your double but atleast it can't use skills on you
all you need are power/vit/def scrolls to make this easy
mdef scroll if your a mage i guess but def for the other monsters

Yes, the skill is endure, from 47+ clerics, so you got lucky. (you might also get lucky from a GM as well)

And now I'll be hunted forever as the cleric who gave away the secret early to someone who didn't yet know...

Just set the stones to a hotkey, and your potions as well. (if you click the icon by your character, it stops you attacking and targets yourself, but using the hotkey prevents that)

use stones first, and potions if you just take that much damage. (to give the stones time to cooldown)

kill the golems and anyone else first, to save stones/potions in the long run.

the golems revive, but if you work fast, you should have no problems ignoring them when they do come back.

I tried taking my weapon off before and it instantly failed when the shadow whacked me. Is that normal? =\

No silly. Before you accept the quest, remove your weapon then go and talk to that guy in the Forest of Mist to say you are ready. Don't do it AFTER accepting the quest.

That's what I did silly. Not only did it happen on my fighter, but my cleric and mage as well.

Anyway, I've just finished the fighter quest earlier and my tips includes; max up your sp and hp stones, bring a lot of potions, go naked and equip a level 1 sword if you're having the same problem as me. Don't forget to equip everything back on once your shadow appears. About the stone goblin, I just whack them dead first before continuing with my shadow.

You would need these:

Vit, Aim, Shield scrolls.

HP/SP stones. I only used like half of mine, but fill it!

Cleric buff is prefered but not necessary.

What you need, Vitality, Defense, and Aim Scrolls. 15 hp stones and sp stones each and 20 hp potions and sp potions each. Put both the stones and potions on hotkey. If you are a warrior I recommend you to take off your weapon and also if your a mage. Warriors cause they have strong attacks and mages because they have strong magics.
Use your scrolls then go in. The second your in attach your weapon, your shadow will not have it.
I've done both the archer and fighter and it only took me one try to finish both of them. It was extremely easy.

i've done this quest on archer and cleric, and really didn't have troubel o.o; I had alot of HP and SP pots on me with both but I didn't did the "naked" trick that everyone is talking about. Now, the golems are annoying but, you just have to kill them when they come and then go back to killing your clone.

You can also use the Q (HP-Stone) and E (SP-Stone) buttons. ;)

Also another tip: If you have a bad connection, I mean if you need more then 10secs to even enter the Forest of Mist, then you should do the naked trick only at the final battle. Outherwise you get wanked while the dungeon loads (thanks to Aquila who sacrificed herself for our benefit :p ).
