Why is my archer so weak

My friend and me always party and hes level 6 and im level 6 but i notice the big attack damage between me and him he hits 20s on imps and fire mushrooms while i hit 6 and 7s off of them Maybe it beacuse hes a warrior but please will someone explain to me why he hits so much.

Archers are meant to be weaker then fighters in general. But yes it helps to know where you've put your stats. So if you'll list them I can get a better reason as to why you are weaker.

Well this is my real account and i put it on equal is that good or bad like 2dex = 2spr should i stop at 25 spr?

It's mainly just a matter of your play style cause if your more of a spam skill user then i suggest something like 1:3 Dex:Spr. On the other hand if your like doing more damage with normal shots then try 2:1 Str:Dex. A good one if you want to maximize damage is 2:2:1 Str:Spr:Dex.

To make money you simply sell stuff that you pick up or create to NPCs or other players and I suggest hunting in Sand Beach at level 12 and entering Forest of Mist at about level 13 or 14. Sea of Greed is good for leveling up fast at around level 17.

1-6 forrest of tides (F.O.T)
7-17+ KQ's
18-20 KQ's or sea of greed (S.O.G)
