hi
atm i'm leveling a 22 fighter and my build is currently 2STR, 9END and 15SPR
my main weapon is the 2h sword
i first wanted to be a tank, so i put points into END, but then i wanted to be dps to i started investing highly into SPR and now some STR
now i was wondering, is the difference big between a fighter who has 9 STR less then a warrior who goes 25 SPR and rest STR? or is it neglectable?

In the end it's all neglegable really, a fighter is the 3rd lowest dps in the game, only clerics do less damage than fighters. You can get str and add some damage but fighters are still mostly tanks, fighters that refuse to tank are on about the same level as clerics that don't heal. Whether you have 9 more str or whatever is meaningless cause a knowledgeable archer or mage will do lots more damage than either type of fighter.

well i don't refuse to tank, but i'd like to take on the role of significant dps when i don't have to tank(ie when solo'ing or somebody else tanks)
i don't mind putting snearing kick in my rotation at all, but i wouldn't want to specialize into tanking by going heavy END
WTB berserker class tbh.. i want to do melee dps :p

My only point was that the minimal damage one fighter gains over another is somewhat meaningless cause you simply can't compete with real dps classes. Your question is basically should you recreate the character cause you're missing some str and my point is it doesn't matter cause you can't play on the same level of dps as a real one. I've had fighters 8 levels higher than my archer using gaxe and not taunting and it takes me about 4 hits to pull the mob off them, and some people say archer is lower dps than mage. That should give you an idea of the damage difference between the two classes.
If we were talking 50 str or something that's a little more damage but even then it's still nothing compared to what the real dps classes do.

And thats not adding to the fact if its a pure STR archer. 0_o
