So I had a nice +4 Heaven Hammer. Got a Lucky Lix from a quest, so I decided "Hey, I could make my hammer even stronger!" Tried to enhance, failed. Ok, I had +3, still good. So I got a Lix from a vendor to make it +4 again. Failed. +2 now. I bought 2 more Lix with the rest of my money. "I thought hey, I won't have any money, but i'll have a +4 hammer again! " Tried. Failed. Hammer gone. Bye bye. No Hammer, no money :'(

So please can someone spare this unfortunate soul a Heaven Hammer... It doesn't even have to be enhanced, or just enough Silver to buy one I don't care. I know it's partly my fault, but please I will be so greatful.

I know it's partly my fault,
Correction: It is entirely your fault. You knew the risks and proceeded anyway.

I would suggest making a new alt, if you have room. The game practically throws silver at newbies these days, so you should easily be able to gather enough to finance a new hammer for your other char.

Haha, I apologize for being such a noob. I was still in rant\panic mode, I just get very discouraged by small setbacks. And I thought Lucky Lix had a better chance of success, but, whatever.

Have a good day XD

Join Insanity. They give great rewards. I hear it's hard to vend though
Also, don't apologize for being you. You ain't got to be sorry for NOBODY.
Do you booboo. Without apology.

The same people trying to make you accept their version of who you are are the same people who aint giving you NOTHING, or doing anything for you. In fact people everywhere, not just fiesta and their ilk, get very whiny and stalkerish when you refuse to accept their version of who you are. It's extremely hard to enhance, admittedly by design.

Blessed stones are generally preferred, since they have a greater chance of succeeding.

Lucky stones are actually less likely to succeed. They do, however, supposedly have a greater chance of increasing the enhancement level by two instead of the usual one. (I.e., if you succeed with a lucky stone, you could possibly go from +4 to +6 in one go.)

In the future, I would not recommend trying to enhance a valuable item without eyes and miles from the cash shop. Inevitably, you will break your item, and there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

^^ What she said;

Lucky: Low chance of success, Slightly higher chance of +2
Blessed: High chance of success and lower chance of breakage, small chance of +2

No point crying over spilt milk, just grab another hammer and try your luck again. Or don't enhance, without enhancement bundles it isn't always likely to succed. Risk it for a biscuit, so they say.

I don't recommend you to enhance your level 2x hammer. If you do your quests and KQ's, you won't even be in the 2x's long enough to reap any enhancing benefits.

For future reference when you do have CS Red Eyes and etc, always enhance your shield over your hammer/mace since a cleric will benefit the most from it. You'll likely make more money when you sell it and get good parties with an enhanced shield since clerics with higher defense are the most desired in a party over one that has slightly higher damage of an enhanced weapon.

Well, since I'm a nice guy most days, I'll give you a hammer someone dropped by storage.
Whisper me anytime between 2100 and 0300 game-time. Not that guy. Ukita.
*EDIT(Gawsh!)*
Sorry, I don't have a hammer on this server...
