just wondering if peoples login names and character names have meanings (possibly only to them)to them and what they mean.

Mine is Ekimmu-The evil Ghost of an individual who is denied entrance to the Underworld and is doomed to walk the earth for eternity, Ekimmu means "that which is snatched away". there is so much more to it then that, but didn't want to bore more than needed. just google it

I use Milo as well because that is the name of one of the voices in my head and he wants to be heard at times (edit:) games and rpgs is how he's heard

He's an old D&D character of mine, a fighter, a show off, and a trustworthy guy. Seriously. I take great pride in saying that Varn as a character is a virtuous 'being'. Everytime I use him in a mmorpg I do my best to uphold good and justice and help those in need (albeit in order to be of help in most situations I have to go off and plvl a bit, making Varn seem distant and unconcerned) As an added bonus, in a game that allows guilds, Varn leads the Monster Hunter Corps. The MHC is a guild designed to help people learn tips and tricks for the game, as well as be a part of a group of players who just love to smite the forces of evil (or random helpless creatures who might pick the wrong end of a losing battle) Anyone is allowed to join, but until the OB begins (or rather when no more character wipes are scheduled) the guild probably won't exist.

My only character in CBT is Bekkin

Not much to say. I needed to come up with a quick, easy, and decent sounding name for a male character, whom I decided would become a rogue. Maybe he will make a return to SoS, maybe not.

my name is Horforia. i made it up on the spot one day when starting my first role play with a friend of mine. i just put some random letters, together in a way that ended up sounding odd, then changed it a few times till it sounded interesting enough to me.

as for the name history, i made one of those too.

according to legend, my name was given to my by luna (goddes of the moon for those who dont know), and my mother was told that i am to be the reincarnation of the last phoenix, who was empress of the world, untill she was assasinated by sol ( the sun for those that dont know). now sol rules the world, and 200 thousand years later i am born with hair down to the middle of my back, and parts of my body changing into odd shapes. when luna found out about my birth, she came to my mother and told me to not fear my strange changes, and long hair and to name me Horforia, because i could transform, just as the last phoenix herself could.

It was only hours after my birth, and my naming by luna, that it was found that i am a male, and not worthy of the title given to me, but even as a child i was starting to use my powers at will, and at the age of 5 i was given a test to prove my worthyness, or lack of it.

I was put under many different tests, spanning 2 years all together, by Luna, and in her attemp to prove me unworthy of the title of "reincarnation of the last phoenix", Luna instead proved me to be more than worthy.

once i had proven my worthyness i was trained in many different arts of fighting, and healing, but i did not have the skill to learn the different styles of fighting, and that was given up as useless, and hopeless, so i instead excelled in the healing arts, which consisted of memorizing many different spells, complex hand movements, and learning different states of mind.

fourty-seven years later i am now 54, and ready to be sent out into the world to learn on my own, and travel the universes. i travelded on my own over 200 years honing my skills in transforming, and healing, and leaning how to fight offensively with them both.

***the rest is a story of how i met the one i call my brother Zexoplon (my friend whome i was doing this role play with) and spent the next 1700 years traveling the world, and building our reputations, as the two most powerfull beings in the world***




I could go on and on making up the storie as i go, but i am sure it is long enough as it is. if anyone wants to hear more of my storie, or wants me to make a background story for them, just let me know. i've gotten perty good at it since four years ago when i first thought of "Horforia"

Kusanagi - This names roughly translates: "grasscutter" or "snake sword"(as you can see from naruto), I've used this name way before I watched naruto though. The sword Kusanagi is a High Profile sword in Japan, as famous as the sword Excalibur. The K in the end used to be a name but I just left it as a K.

well, mine is fairly simple... I'm a big fan of the Human Torch to start. Then I once had a creative writing class that required us to make up a hero of our own... and so Fireslinger was born, that was like 6 years ago. I've used the handle in various areas since.

StriderHiryu is a character found in the games "Strider 1 and 2" and "Marvel vs Capcom", I just think he looks real awesome and I use him alot in MvC..., so..I just started to use his name and his rivals name, StriderHien.

One of my Rogue's is Kajikage, meaning "Fire Shadow".
The other will be Kc_Kyoushu. Kyoushu means "Assassin".

No wonder, I refered Leuda, Monda and Tosda as my "Weekies".

I could have picked names from my novels or other wierder stuff(Scrapcrusader, Dumpknight, Silverbolt, Trashknight, Fiyun, Suriko, Azimaet, Emmonie, Firebolt, Eko...), but it wasn't funny at the CB.
