Error connecting to update server: (10054, 'Connection resset by peer')

Hi,

I would really love to play this game, but it is giving me the following error after I install and launch the exe.

Operating System Processor:windows xp home edition
Memory:2 GB RAM ( the system reqs say 512 minimum, could this be why it wont work?)
Page File:3606mb with 325mb being used
DirectX version: 9.0c
Display Device Name:NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GS
Approx. 256mb (in dxdiag)
Display Device Driver Version:6.14.0011.6375
Sound Device Name: SB X-Fi Audio
Sound Device Driver Version:5.12.0001.1187

Error Log:
Unhandled exception in thread started by <function launcher_startup at 0x00B2D830>

AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'split'

I also installed this on my other computer running XP home with no firewall enabled and got the same error ...

The issue with the launcher can be resolved by manually downloading and installing the patch. Please save to your desktop, and install it from your desktop. Here is a link that will help.
