Log-in problem

I haven't played this yet but I have been wanting to, but when I try to log into the client it just gives me an upside down ?, upside down !, and upside down _. When I click ok, it then gives me the same message with a 2 at the end. If I click okay again a full screen window flashes on the screen for a split second, closes, and the client loads back up to the the log-in screen. How can I fix this?

Right click your desktop,go to properties,then settings tab,click advanced,in the advanced window click the troubleshooting tab,and make sure your bar is all the way to the right
