worthless.

we are NOT a damage dealer. even pure str. we wont do as much damage as a end:str fighter, and def less than a mage or archer.
we have ok end, but without points into it we would have to heal much more than we would as and end:spr or end:str (which i dont suggest until after you get spr to +25).
in a party we usually heal, with low def/sp we will have to rest or stone more, and if our heal pulls agro (specially if in a higher lv area) you and your party might be in trouble. if the cleric dies then the party is usually in trouble.

70 extra damage on top of your 200+ would make one lvl 59 cleric kill orcs a lot faster, right? ;o

and you would have no magic defense and youd use twice as much sp as me. but ok. ill just stick to STR and end rings.

worst idea ever. Do a 2:1 End:Spr until u get 25 spr, then go full end.

i believe in pure str as a valid build, and i highly reccomend that someone tests it as a lisenser cleric. consider this:

-if you were pure str, you would use the consume the same amount of sp as a pure spr cleric. sp consumption is decided by skill empowerment.

-you wont miss your 250+ hp with a vit teir 2 on you.

-you will be able to obtain +5% crit soon by buying the tuxedo suit in the cash shop.

- IF the amount of sp restored was decided by your base sp (not sure), then buying the EXP pack in cash shop ( has a 2x stone capacity item) would fix you having to return to town frequently.

- dex can be fixed by accuracy and evasion scrolls ( you have low-ish evasion to begin with)

the only thing that you will truely miss is you ability to tank massive mobs at once.

My cleric has 20 pts into str at this point, and only 16 into END. I change my rings from STR to END depending on my role at the time. I can definitely tank in CP with no issues, and not at a significant expense either. I solo quite often in Uruga, also with little issue. I am not claiming that I am a damage dealer, but I can tell you that a level 56 cleric with my build does about the same damage as a full END fighter of similar level. It's pretty easy to maintain aggro too!

pure str might be much more rewarding at later lvls. (considers stat point changing)

If I were going to make a cleric geared towards damage per second, I wouldn't make them full strength, I'd add 25 spirit for the criticals, and maybe a little reserve SP, because you would, one way or another, need the extra healing power.

The downsides to this build would primarily manifest at low levels, where 5 HP is a large percentage of your total. As you grow, your HP reserve increases swiftly, and one you get endure, HP from Endurance becomes far less useful, to a point where losing 200 HP would bring you from 1800 to 1600.

Late game, there are two disadvantages, one major, one minor. The first is this might stop you from clanking. No problem there, this build would be built for quick, constant soloing anywhere outside of kingdom quest and dungeons.
The second problem is related; the inability to cope with multiple enemies on you at the same time. Already the cleric's biggest weakness, lacking the HP reserve to survive mobs makes life very awkward, since they have no AOE attack either.

All in all, I believe the build better suits a mace user, where the faster attacks gain the most benefit from the flat Strength bonus to damage. Later on, ignoring your disability and going for whatever rings boost your strength even further to kill as rapidly as possible, so that you take fewer hits when every single one takes a large chunk out of your HP.

Given the already immense survivability of a cleric in any circumstance, I believe they could afford the loss of survivability granted by endurance without becoming in any way "fragile".

Yeh, i am a str-spr user and its pretty good, no doubt that my hp and defence is less than a end-spr cleric but. i am a soloer i dun really pt that much, why pt when u can solo and get all the loots xD

Btw i would rather lose sp and get spend alil silvers on sp stones than rather having to kill orcs for ages.
