Hello everyone!

I want to let you know that we, the Outspark team, are working hard day and night to get Secret of the Solstice Open Beta to you all as soon as possible. Prepare yourselves for more maps, monsters, items, quests, classes, storyline, and new events. We are still working on new additions as we speak.

Here are some things that we have guaranteed:

-CB character names have been saved
-CB buddy lists have been saved

I will keep you all updated with information as soon as it can be released. For now, I thank you all for your patience and support as we are doing our best to bring back Secret of the Solstice.

Just letting you know, the upgrading Xen Stones have a shiny background on the item, and make that loud *ding* sound when they drop. You must've found a different item that's used for something else, that's why it's not worth much. If I'm wrong, then bleh...

Well I suppose we all had our suspecions that game names and such would be kept. You said that already didn't you? And well the friends list being kept, that was something different that we didn't know, and I suppose quite a few people would like that to be the same.

However its nice to know your "working hard day and night" to speed up the release of the game. I wouldn't know what happens in the company you work in.

That's probably only for the development team who has to deal with translating things from xenepic. Remember that on this game, the development team and the GMs or CSRs team are completely separate things.

Wow, it must be hard being a GM and having to try to understand whatever you get asked, indifferent of how hard it may be to read. There should be something on the terms of service against typing in way too summarized or chatroom ways.

The new classes the gm said are probably just the updated versions of the already existing ones. As in rogue => felon.

We've already seen felons, though; rogues turn into them at level 66 or so. (Or at least, I've seen them: I was a rogue, and the skill information showed the next class up. I'm wondering, though, if now we'll be able to see the classes after that - the picture boxes for the higher classes were blank.)

By the way, where was this "gm said" post? I don't remember reading it; must've missed it while lurking.

Rogues can advance to an archer at level 45, if they want to.
But you can just stay a rogue until level 66 and become a felon, a more advanced rogue.
So if you want to be an archer, you gotta be a rogue first.

Just be glad that SOS decided to get rid of the having to level up to 31 with Xenian before next job class. :p Xenians have other skills besides Xen. XD!!

Potburning was manditory in CB, considering they recovered only 30hp. ^.^'

The labyrinth for beginners is more unpredictable then anything. Poison, every monster goes aggro within 6 feet, they flank you, spawn-flank... Yep. Very fun for those below level 25.

its actually possible to make it before level 25, just get in a big party and dont attack anything you cant kill.

Well, after playing Fiesta I realised how much of a failure an Acolyte is in economy below level 50 in SoS. Low firepower, can barely kill anything without starting waste pots, plus it is too party-dependant to be fun without having a lot of patient if you try to solo.

I will start as a Rogue in OB, no matter what. That class have proven to be good for solo and party after observation.

The only names I'm certain of keeping are Tosda(playing) and Swiper(My events mostly. Once he can go "GM Shadow").

Unless the Acolyte gets a huge improvement I doubt I will touch it again after reflection.

While about 40% of them are short and to the point. I don't make useless posts, or threads like some people. When I post there is always a reason.
