Money is very dependent on level since the higher level you are you fight higher level mobs that drop more stuff, don't worry you have good money for your level. A warning levels 20-25 have a notable lack of money and abundance of spendings.

What raises my question, what do you think is a good amount of money at differnet levels (10, 20, 30 ,40, 50). That question interests me much more than how much does an individual have :rolleyes:. It would allow me to decide to make purchases or save up for later. Thanks.

Wow, very ironic timing. I was just thinking to myself "I need to go find a good guide on how to make money in fiesta" when I saw this thread...

I am poor. Dirt poor. Broke. If I pulled out my pockets, no moths would fly out because I'm so poor even the moths starved to death. Got NO money!

I think there needs to be a slight adjustment to this in fact. I felt rich with my cleric at level 19, I had ~14s which was more than 3 times my level 26 archer...but then I gained a level :( I don't understand how people can afford to buy spells and new equipment from the shopkeepers, let alone the ridiculous prices for the uber-eq I see for sale all over the streets of Elderine. (BTW, where does everyone get all these?) From what I hear, there may be hope for me when I get level 30+, but I'm not putting any money down on that :)

I sell materials at or above market price. I produce my own pots/scrolls. I have not fallen for any 1c scams. I did KQs ALOT in hopes of getting some good equipment (only managed to get +6 lvl15 weaps at best from KingSlime quests, no useful EQ from Mara/GoldHill yet). And I only broke 2 weapons, both level 20 quest weapons (which were free and which I did not re-purchase yet), so it's not like I've been spending like crazy... So, that's my rant.

Since it's near Christmas time, I figure I'll post my Fiesta Wish-List In conclusion as it relates to this thread:

1) Please fix enhancing system, someone should be able to enhance an item with a lucky/blessed elrue and not have it break on first failure every time
2) Please give equipment more often (to me) from KQs (at least ones that are above lvl15)
3) More silver please...okay, I won't be too picky, just ALOT more Copper then!
4) Oh yeah, and please tell me where I can get a pet or EQ for less than 650% of my total net worth.

It's all a matter of utilizing what you have now. Well for me it is.

Heres an example, if you're grinding on Ratman from maybe 15-19 you will have a few stacks of Summoned Beast Leather and Torn Leathers. Use those combined with Scroll Production and make scrolls, maybe Shield Defence scrolls.
Those sell for 100-150c each.

Or if you're training on elemental monsters like Phinos or Mini Greens, you'd have a lot old dusts, Old Gem Dust, Old Soul Dust and Old Spirit Dust, use those to make Elrue [1], they sell for 40-50c each, or you could try making them until your stone production lvl is high enough to make Lix [1], and make Lix which sell for 250-300c each.

Sometimes while training you'll get some equipment from monsters, perhaps green equipment which sometimes have godly stats, and can sell for a real high price on the market.

Of course, I'm dirt poor now. And Magus, you owe me 18+ silver.
Anyway, I guess I never really bought anything that was unnecessary.
I think all I bought was SP stones... and new equipment/skills.
All I did was grind constantly too.
And as Magus said, use the drops from monsters with your production skills. I think I made a lot of money off of Elrue and Lix.

It's not that I"m shwoing off. It's that It seems that most of the people playing fiesta seem poor and donesnt have enough money to buy stuff like skills and armor. I think after reading all of these I"m going to post a new thread stating the staff members should lower the prices.

I agree, I think prices should be substantially lowered for the lvl20 tier items. I understand the whole "beginner handicap" of lvl 1-20, but I think there's such a drastic change that you can't even afford all the level 21 skills until you're nearly lvl 30, let alone the EQ (at least these are not all available at the same time).

The other thing is that the lvl20 weapons are so expensive, that you have nearly NO incentive of enhancing them (unless you're like me and enhance the free one and break it).

Economy seems to be slightly skewed for the lvl 2x'er

DUDE! I bought a +7 wind steel xbow +3 str +6 spr for 30s! so dont say you cant afford a good weapon for 50s! BTW i picked it up in uruga. I figured some high level archers must have some of their old gear still lieing around.

Who cares? if you want money, you can always pay the chinese farmers. Money is nothing imo. Even if you have 2gem, it doesn't mean you are any better than someone who has 2copper if you got no skills.
