you possibly could if you found a way to hook up the image form your comp to your PS2 but the controls probably wouldn't work and youd just get the image im guesing :/

it would only work on the ps3 casue the ps2 cables for internet have been deemed dangerous for fire hazerd and u can just hook up your computer to your TV using a VGA cable

get your ps3 so it can emulate a window OS , use a keyboard to joystick emulator , and download fiesta. Also got to flash direct x onto the ps3

And after all that work you are still better off selling the ps 3 and building / buying a PC.

Catch up with the times...
With emulation anything is possible.
Arcade games at 16 bits, were ported to 8 bit consoles, with graphical resolution data loss.
These days data loss aint much of a problem.

And after all that work you are still better off selling the ps 3 and building / buying a PC. You wouldn't get any where near the amount to get good parts to build a PC. Let alone buy a non-crappy one.

Looks like some one has finally answered the question without implying it is impossible.
It isn't impossible it just takes more work than it is worth it.
I do have a possible backwards Idea though. You can use a PS3 controller and play Fiesta on your computer! I myself haven't tried it. And I assume Outspark doesn't have controller support for Fiesta so you would need to find a useful program to do such things. I happen to know of 2 but I cannot say due to possible forum violations.

O-o What? I don't think you even understand what I am saying. If people can hack a PSP and make it so they can play Halo on it. They can surely take the time to make a PS3 Play a PC game. And I "Don't think there is". Unless you have some sort of proof to say they don't exist then stop flat out denying it. Because if you look hard enough or talk to the right people you can get what you want. But not always for free.
And on that it won't work. How do you know that for sure? Did you try it yourself? If you did then excuse my insolence. But if you didn't then stop rejecting the idea. It is indeed possible. Just very unlikely.

halo on psp is homebrew someone copied halo. It is not the axact thing and this about ps2 not a ps3 if you look at the name of the topic :) even on a ps3 you wouldnt be able to do it unless you didnt update so the other os menu isnt gone even if you have that windows doesnt run full speed on the ps3 so any upto date games like this wouldnt run playable or not at all then theres xtrap that would stop you anyway bye bye

Lol. If you haven't noticed it has switch from PS2 to the more possible PS3. Which is what I am talking about. Which you said wasn't possible. o-o Thus my loss. Not entirely true though. If you can confuse the system into dual booting both the PS3 OS and the Windows OS and have enough space for installing updates and stuff you can get it to work. (You can also just switch between the two). But this doesn't take into account the possible unhackable PS3's that are now out there on the market.
Not every thing is perfect. In the end it is simpler just to use the computer they used to post this thread and use the USB cord with the PS3 controller and hook it up to the PC so they can enjoy it the way they want. They can even change the monitor into the TV.
As for Homebrew and a rip copy. Meh. That was still all near first gen. They got better tools now than they did before. You should see what people can do now.
I'm sure you can understand that it is possible to do. You said that you could just now and that it will most likely not run windows at optimal speeds and thus not install the service packs. You never know. People have done weirder and more amazing things before. All I was trying to say was that it is "Possible".
Lol. You edited your post? As for xTrap. That is not even an issue. It barely even does it's job.

even though i haven't tried it,emulation is definitely possible.i play ps1,ps2,and n64 games on my laptop, and i play japanese games on american systems(which isn't possible without the right parts or coding) my best friend hacked her psp to play n64 games,ps1 games,ps2 games, and so forth, and no its not homebrew.for emulation, you need the right controller and settings to make the game even recognize it.now im not sure whether its possible yet on the newer systems,i have seen xbox 360's hacked and moded

and u are pretty much reduced to, oh you will need a better controller... let's say 4 arrows to move (check, and or be used as hotkeys), 10 buttons for hotkey, two more for left and right click on the mouse (L3,R3 inside the joysticks) (the joystick itself would have to simulate the mouse, the other could be used to move), what should we say, it is quite possible, it just needs time and a ps3 and emulator (or emulator and reburn fiesta on a dvd each time a new patch unfolds on a ps2)
