Greetings My Fellow Solsticians,
I just wanted to post this note to let you know that your GM team has been shouting from the mountaintops about lag issues and the XenClient.exe crashes that folks have been reporting. We will get to the bottom of these issues and fix them.
I want to make sure, in the interests of accuracy, that folks also understand that the XenClient error has nothing to do with O+ (which we are working on completely relaunching as a better, faster, more stable tool in the future). The Developers control the XenClient.exe and we are trying to work with them to figure out this crash and fix it.
We need your help!
If you experience this crash, PLEASE take a screenshot of the window that pops up and send in a ticket to CS. In addition to the screenshot, PLEASE include a diagnostic of your computer.
You can get one by following these directions:
1. Go to Start->Run->type 'dxdiag'
3. When the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window opens...
4. Click 'Save all information'
5. Save that text file and send it to CS.
Why?
Because this file shows your system configuration and may help the developers to figure out what conflicting processes are crashing the game.
I apologize again for the annoyance this is causing and I promise that fixing it is a top priority for the entire team here and abroad.
Your Humble Servant,
GM_Phibes
